Originally built and immortalized in 1881 by German carousel master carver and builder, Charles I.D. Looff — nicknamed “Wolfie” by friends — the revolving centerpiece of our fine establishment settles between the see and the be seen and somewhere between myth and legend. Wolfie’s Carousel is a singular setting to enjoy a moveable feast with the vanguard of old and new.

Known for his intricate and whimsical hand-carved carousels and amusement rides, Charles built over 40 carousels in his time. “Wolfie’s” carousels circled the country from Brooklyn to Coney Island, Rhode Island to the West Coast — his inimitable style of carving captivating crowds and inspiring others. We take the spirit of Wolfie and his carousels and pledge to live a life well traveled, grabbing the brass ring in an evocation of a Paris brasserie. Good food, good drink, and honorable traditions liberated from pretension and restraint, we welcome you to Wolfie’s Carousel.

Fantastic experience at this beautiful restaurant. Were offered the opportunity to sit at the carousel bar which I accepted. Waiting staff were excellent and food was great.

My friends and I had an amazing experience! We celebrated a baby sprinkle for one friend and a new job/move for another. The food and cocktails were delicious, with great portions, and looked amazing in 📸. Our server was incredibly friendly and helped our friend who was pregnant make appropriate adjustments to her meal to meet her dietary preferences. We had so much fun and made a beautiful memory for the next chapter in all our lives.

It was so loud we could not talk to each other Very cute unusual interior Excellent service however cocktails were underwhelming-Oysters Rockefeller very good French soup was very good Heirloom tomato salad was lacking and tomatoes, and melon… Burger was good. Fries were good. Steaks were OK. Service was excellent, but I would probably not go back way too much money for what we got

I think this is very normal now - you don’t go to dinner for the experience you go to eat and get out. When we had our reservation it was about half full and felt like the staff was more interested in getting you in and out. Presentation we had numerous cups, plates and silverware that was dirty or had left over food. The food was fine for the cost for sure. This was our first time and have heard so much about this spot but one and done is fine. The staff will continue to hurt business for sure.

I love this place – like a beautiful. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The beignets was amazing and Burguer Royale. Service was well-timed and friendly.

It’s a cute place, but the food and drinks get zero stars. The crab benedict was terrible. There was not a lot of crab, too much spinach that didn’t pair well with the croissant nor the crab. My friend had a burger, and she also did not like her food. Very unfortunate. Drinks also weren’t good. I’d maybe go back for the ambience, and sit at the bar and only order wine.

Cute little bar. We didn’t sit on the moving carousel, but had a great and comfortable view from our table. The beignets were good with two different jams a lemon curd and blackberry lavender. I had the burger and thought it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. My daughter had the croque monsieur and she enjoyed though thought it was heavy on the bread side. The only thing that isn’t ideal is the noise is the airplanes as it is close to the airport but after a while we just adapted to be quite and continue conversation once the plane passed. lol.

Disliked that there were menu options that were not available. Disliked the Croque Monsieur, mine was burnt and covered in sauce. French onion soup lacked flavor, croutons were just bland. Pineapple Mimosa was overpriced and mediocre in flavor. If i had to rate it out of 10, ai would give it a 6

The drinks were ok, my whole experience was ruined because of the Bar tenders trying to sell pushing us every 2 minutes to get another drink. We ended up going to another place to actually enjoy
