A beautiful afternoon tea with stunning views. There was plenty of delicious food and we couldn’t finish it all. We were able to take the leftover deserts to out room in a takeaway container. Great service and a very relaxing experience.

Stunning view, food was lovely, and plenty of it. Additional glasses of sparkling wine were reasonably priced. Service was unattentive. Took 30minutes to bring tea, and I had to keep asking for things, they never approached us to see if we needed anything. It wasn't even busy. And just odd lazy things like, bringing the bill to the table, then refusing to take the bill with the credit card, siting we had to get up. It was just weird. The service took forever too, so then they were rushing us at the end for the next table sitting.

Love the Wintergarden High Tea. An annual pilgrimage for us as a family. Food is amazing, dining room stunning old world charm and the view of the Megalong valley the best you can get from any dining room. Service was a little less than we’re used to seeing on this visit but still a real treat.

A beautiful restaurant with the most amazing view . Service was outstanding . Food was really lovely. The only thing I would suggest is to lose the curried egg sandwiches , they don’t belong .

Probably one of the best quality food experiences we’ve had in many years. Great service, beautiful surroundings. The menu was superb, and the pairing of the wines was perfect. The interactions with the staff from the time we walked in the door until we left with absolutely first rate.

I went there as a special occassion, they accommodated a last minute change, which was great however, the table was much to small for high tea, we were moved table mid way, The wrong teas given to the wrong people, coffee took over 20 mins and a high tea tray missing half the offerings.

High tea at the Hydromajestic was on my bucket list. I was very happy to be able to go and absolutely loved it. We had a window table so we had spectacular views. The food was delicious and far too much for me to finish. The staff were happy to give us some takeaway containers to take the leftovers home.

Location & view was lovely. The food was very nice & fresh. Dietary requirements were well catered for. The host who seated us to our table on arrival was fantastic, however the gentleman who replaced him at the counter when we paid our bill not so much. Firstly the bill was dumped on our table saying our 90 minutes was up. We had waited 65 minutes of our dining time for our food tray to arrive & was then expected to down it all in 25 minutes when there were plenty of empty & uncleared tables around us. When we stated this & that we would like to order another coffee to finish off our desserts, we were told most they could extend by is 5 minutes…it took longer than that to get served the coffees!! One of our party couldn’t drink tea or coffee so was told by the waiter they could have juice or soft drink included instead, yet we were charged for it on the bill. When this was queried, we were scolded like children saying this was not allowed but he’ll not charge us this time. We asked the question before ordering & was told the opposite, so not our fault! I hate to think of the scolding the poor waiter may have gotten afterwards, so unprofessional! As was the eye rolling when he had to redo the bill a third time because he just presumed we were paying by card & charged us a credit card surcharge fee when we were paying by cash. Didn’t spoil our experience but was sad it ended on a slightly negative note. Don’t think I’d come here again on a weekend though, as other times I’ve visited here was during the week & it was a better experience.

A lovely 3 course meal with great service. Scallop entree superb. Much better than the Darley restaurant at Lilianfels that we had 2 months ago.

The food was absolutely stunning. I honestly wasn't expecting anything special as I imagined a high tea is just scones and sandwiches, but this was on another level. So flavourful and fresh. And the view was amazing.

Great food, selection and service. I had to move seats because a staff member kept knocking the back of my seat as he went past. Our table was too close to the computer!

We had a lovely high tea at Wintergarden for my Mums 90th birthday. The staff were fantastic, they allocated a beautiful table for us, went out of their way to wish mum happy birthday & made a special decorated dessert plate for her. Thanks for the excellent service, much appreciated!

Beautiful restaurant in a glorious setting. It was our anniversary and we were seated next to the window. Our waiter was extremely attentive and treated us like royalty. Food was impeccable, however, portions are small but it is fine dining and everything you eat has been carefully placed on the plate and flavours are exotic. It is a gustatory experience for the senses. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 3-course dinner at Wintergarden. The staff were all attentive and friendly. We dined with a gift voucher - this restaurant is more expensive than one we’d normally visit - so to us it was very luxurious. Beautiful setting, and even with the valley obscured by fog in the rainy weather, the enormous windows give the room a grand feel. The servings were small but perfectly delicious and satisfying.

For the price they ask and considering it was a special occasion DISAPPOINTED the food was warm ,wife had the duck which was rubbery and not good at all I had the lamb which was overcooked , chewy and almost cold , the wait between courses way to long .the desert was nice we both ordered the same but then the sauce that they pour over the desert was at different portions . The staff were nice and polite atmosphere fantastic just an absolute shame the food was not up par .

Beautiful high tea, generous servings. Lovely to be able to choose from the variety of high teas on offer, something to suit everyone. Hands down the best scones I’ve had for a long time! Wait staff were attentive and made a fuss over my daughters celebrating their birthday. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

We dined here for our 40th wedding anniversary. Could not be happier with the experience. Food was superb and staff went out of their way to make it a special night for us. They were kind and attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. An incredibly beautiful sunset over the valley topped things off.
