Mama’s Boy is an Italian dinner club with a Southern accent, brought to you by Michelin-starred Chef Wes Whitsell. Situated inside Winston House – a popular community hub with live music and DJ sets – Mama’s Boy is the perfect start to a night out. With lively dishes that embody Chef’s Texan roots and mom’s home-cooked Italian food, the menu strikes a balance between comfort and creativity.

At Mama’s Boy, he presents his most innovative menu yet: a fusion of nostalgic Italian cuisine with a Southern twist - a true ‘Spaghetti Western’. Each dish is a nod to his upbringing, a journey home where every bite tells a story of love, tradition, and the connection of family.

Love winston house, it’s always such a cool vibe. Ensley is an amazing server.

They recently changed the menu, so what we were going in to have was completely different. Not sure we need ANOTHER Italian food restaurant in this neighborhood… every corner has Italian. They used to have such a different menu, Asian inspired. Which made this place so unique!! I’d go back for drinks, the space is beautiful, and then go somewhere else for dinner.

The reservation situation was confusing since the venue is divided into a few sections, but hostess was very helpful & accommodating.

Great spot for a fun group dinner. It is a loud bar scene with bands and DJs so know what you are getting yourself into. If you are looking for fun and good food and drinks this is a great spot.

I booked a table for my birthday. They didn't even come to serve us for thirty minutes and they had a two hour limit to the table. Our server and all of the staff were extremely rude to us. We had to spend a minimum of 600$ and even though we paid that much money, they treated us extremely poorly. They tried to kick out my friends and I for telling them that they were being rude. DO NOT recommend trying to go with a bigger group because they will not treat you with respect, forget to serve you, and then threaten to still charge you an absurd amount of money for mediocre drinks and food. Then they screamed at us to get out of the table when we truly were only 5 mins past the time limit.

Sat 30 minutes late for their reservation and crammed 13 guests at their table of 6, upsetting other guests in their vicinity. They became more inebriated as the night went on and were rude to all the staff that came near them. They were twice removed from restricted areas and then escorted out by security. Once outside this lady called my female manager "a dirty f**king ho" and told me to "suck her c**k". Clearly they are not guests that we would like at Winston House and are not welcome back.
