At Willow food can be a very intimate experience that can make you relive a core memory, or even create a new one, and being able to do that for someone is one of his greatest experiences. Willow is located walking distance from Golden 1 Center, Downtown Commons, Old Sacramento.

Happy Hour is offered 3pm-5pm everyday.

This dining room is where we reunite and gather to celebrate, relax, and share good food.

Our cuisine is inspired by the Southern Italian and Mediterranean Sea regions, with a focus on house-made pastas, seafood, and game proteins.

We have two public parking lots located within just 1 block of Willow. Located @ 3rd street, Underneath I-5. The second lot is the DOCO parking lots. Ample space in both lots. We also offer valet parking for $10 per hour up to $40.

No hostess. Had to request water. Enteees and salads all delivered at the same time. Understaffed. Seemed like staff was untrained. Do not recommend.

Food here was really great . We enjoyed the starter Brushetta which was outstanding. Ordered the Branzino which was the whole fish and was terrific and big. Had the steak which was moist n tender . Great place

The gentleman who greeted us was fantastic professional friendly and welcoming our server was great although I wish she would have told us right away when we sit down that the roast of chicken takes 40 minutes ! We ordered it and then she alarmed us that it would be 40 minutes so we changed our order but it would have helped us a lot to know that in the beginning when she sat us down The salad was basically not worth the money there was no sausage or hardly any sauce in the pasta dish the best thing were the olives we won't visit there again! but we really appreciated the complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary which was very very kind thank you very much beautiful restaurant

Incredible experience at Willow. Our server was so kind and helpful. He was always available but never intrusive. We were celebrating an anniversary and Willow made it so special. They congratulated us right when we walked it. The olives were so delicious! The entire dining experience was perfect. I’d highly recommend for a special occasion.

Our food took forever to get to us. We ordered pasta. The table next to us came 20 minutes after us and got their food 30 minutes before us. The place was nice, service was not. Not sure if it was just our server or not but we will not be back for a second try. We were looking forward to trying this place and it let us down.

I have never been until yesterday. I think it was one of the best dining experience I had in years. The service excellent-the food was out standing…still thinking about how good it was..not just one items but all the items were exceptional! Cost reasonable-the value was perfect, I still can’t believe how incredible the flavors were, how the temperature was perfect, how texture was perfect. We had a well design drink, a manhattan, you could tell the thought went into it. The focaccia bread, was warm, and crusty and soft. The gnocchi with brown butter and squash, might not sound as good as it tasted…but this was the over the top! Unbelievable flavors, the gelato was perfect! Nice cold and refreshing. I could do it all over again. Thank you for making my lunch the best ever!

The food was nicely prepared and nicely presented. The service could not have been better. The decor was modern, comfortable and pleasing. My only quibble and hence the less than stellar ambiance score is with the music played during the entire meal. The thump, thump, thumping of the bass was unpleasant and could not be ignored. Not my idea of dinner music.

Food was excellent. Imaginative and delicious. Everything was enjoyable except the seating. Banquet cushions not supportive at the seat area and rolling chairs too deep and bad angle. The food was good enough for us to go back but better seats would make this a real treat

We had a marvelous meal at Willow. It was our first time there, but definitely not the last. It made a great impression on our out-of-town friends. From the imaginative and balanced cocktails, the chef special octopus, and beautiful entrees, everything was delicious and unique. Our server Jordan was a delight, advising us well on the menu and being a present and gregarious host. Thank you for the excellent night out! Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend Willow for a romantic evening with partner or special occasion with friends. Elegant decor, welcoming and professional staff, comfortable seating and noise level and excellent drinks! Brussel sprouts appetizer was the best I've ever had. Homemade pappardelle and grilled pork loin dishes were flawless. Calabrian chilis added an interesting spiciness. Looking forward to our next meal there!

High expectations that were not met. Service was good and the food was mostly disappointing. The starters or “shareables” did not make sense. The prosciutto appetizer was too heavy with the bread rolls and seemed more like something for a brunch. The gnocchi was very good. The other entrees all had some issue. The dessert was very good.

Let me start off with the positives. Service was good, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The ambience is lovely, I really liked the decor. Wine list was ok. My complaint was that almost every bottle they sell was at least $100. We all know that there are great wines that are a lot cheaper. The one down side of this place was the entrees. They were underwhelming. We started off with the prosciutto, really enjoyed this. The prosciutto was good. The little bit burrata that was on the plate did leave me wondering if they knew what burrata is. Overall all it’s a good started and I would order this again. Entrees we had the Bistecca, Branzino, and Campanella. Everything was ok. The Bistecca was not very warm. Branzino was bland and underwhelming. The Campanella was also meh, it tasted like store bought pesto. The shining star of this meal was the shareable side of Sea Charcoal Potatoes, lol. Get the potatoes they are delicious. All in all it was ok and I won’t be rushing back. The food is flavorless and overpriced. But the ambience and service is great. I won’t be rushing back.

Loved this place but I got to say the food was definitely hit and miss. The gnocchi was extremely flavorful but there was only like 5 gnocchis. The bruschetta was good really good but I wouldn’t call it bruschetta. It had goat cheese figs and some tomato. I would definitely order again. Then we got the duck pasta, it was not that good. We got the pork loin it was very dry. The drinks were also very good but the selection of dessert was subpar.

This is my second time there. The first was not too long after it opened and at that time I was disappointed. Last night the meal was excellent. Italian food with flair and embellished flavors.

Overall a “meh” experience. But in fairness that may have been because we had higher expectations. Biba this is not. And nearby Il Fornaio need not worry. The arancini appetizer was good, but it should have been described as a fried cheese ball. The pappardelle had no taste save for the sour cherry tomatoes. The New York steak was excellent, but please don’t cut it up when we say we are going to share it without asking us first. And please don’t tell us you can’t serve us an appetizer first, followed by pasta and then the entree because you have to turn the table. (I thought this was an Italian restaurant.) I realize it’s Valentine’s Day but you just added “rush” to the meal, cost the restaurant money and helped to achieve a “meh” review. This is not high-end dining. More Italian pub. I wish them the best but likely a one and done experience for us.

Long wait time for a pre-dinner cocktail. I love Branzino but it came bone in. My first bite was oh no as I had to find every little bone and pull it out of my mouth. Not pretty. My husbands streak was cooked perfectly.

The service was impeccable and the ambiance was chic and cozy, making the dining experience enticing and enjoyable - if only the food would have matched. The sword fish was bitter, fishy and tasted old. I only had two bites and started feeling a bit queasy. The duck pasta was underwhelming, with a tomato sauce reminiscent of the canned variety with no added garlic or aromatics. It was a sad display. I’ve heard good things about this place, so maybe it was just an off night. But I was rather disappointed by the overall experience.

Our experience was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Joseph gave us incredible service. We never had to ask for anything. Definitely will be visiting again.

Waiter was condescending and dismissive when I complained about the bones in the sea bass. I love sea bass and know that they have boness but there was no deboning. Every bite had multiple bones and was inedible. Offered a complimentary drink or ice cream. Ridiculous. Told me 3 times he could offer that. Said no. Bill arrived and no accommodation on a $400 bill. Lack of customer service and an unwillingness to take the fish off the bill. Then kept telling me the bill was ready with 20 gratuity added. Poor service. Unresponsive to customer feedback and complaint. Take a pass. I'm a Hilton honors and will not even stay at hotel due to service. When we tried to pay cash said they would not accept cash. I mumbled that I would that to the review and he said, what did you say? Waiter was disrespectful, rude and not atune to customer service. Avoid Willow.

Overall a good experience but with some minor issues that management could easily rectify. The food, particularly the pasta (gnocchi and paccheri) were great. The swordfish was moist and nicely crisped on the outside, and blistered shishito peppers were crispy. The service was friendly but with some oversights (no plates, no serving spoons...). Wine list was OK, but rather limited. The minor complaints were that they ran out of branzino, which was the main reason for going; they charged $2 & $3 for extra parmigiana and hot sauce (really, for $30 and $40 dishes?); and there is valet parking but it is not comp'ed with dinner; and even though they take reservations to 9:45, the bar closes at 10:00 on Saturday (does that make sense?).

We had a wonderful server named Zach, he was very nice and accommodating. Everyone’s food tasted great, and was full of flavor; however, the food I ordered it was a special I believe it was called Menzulla (don’t think I spelled it right) it was extremely bland and had no flavor to it all. I was very disappointed in it. It tasted over cooked and no flavoring added to. That being said, the cocktails were wonderful and tastesty, I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. I would go back again knowing that other plates of food were great.

We were seated almost immediately. The waiter was excellent. Everything from the drinks to the dessert was well prepared. The service was appropriate. Not too fast and not too slow. Gave us time to savor out food. The music and other conversations did not make it difficult to have conversations.

We dined as part of too dine downtown. It was a pre-fix menu, and food was very good. Attentive servers checked in often, but time lapse to get second course was disappointing, especially for a small salad. It was over 25 minutes between coarse one (burrata toast) and the salad. Overall great option, just seemed like something was wrong with the timing.
