Beware this restaurant is LOUD! We checked the decibel level, it was 105 to compare a bar playing dance music was 92. You will have to scream to have conversations. The food was good, not great. Drinks were good, not great.

High quality food, great service! Thank you for making out pre-theater/anniversary brunch date special. Unpretentious, friendly, attentive service. This place is clearly well managed.

I keep coming back so I guess that means I really like this place! I think this was the third time in a month. The food and service are dependable. It’s become my go to for lunches out!

I went in with modest expectations and ended up being pleased with all of our food and the ambiance. We started with the arancini which were 6 small balls which were very tasty with a good texture. The burger and fries were also excellent. The burger is quite good and might rank in the bottom of the top tier of burgers in this city....which is a huge compliment. The fries give off McDonald's vibes in the best way possible. Finally, the Pork Schnitzel was great. Large portion, perfect thickness, and just the right amount of breading. The sauce that came with the schnitzel was fantastic and paired perfectly. A generous helping of Rocket/Arugula salad was also a good compliment to the meal. Service was a bit lacking, but not a big deal. For the money and the ambiance, especially in Lincoln Park, this place was a gem. I will certainly be back!

My partner and I ate here on a Wednesday night before attending a performance at Steppenwolf. We ate in one of the outside cubicles, which was cozy and comfortable. The service was exquisitely attentive but not at all intrusive--a difficult balance. Our appetizer of arancini was spot-on in flavor and presentation. For entrees we shared the haddock with asparagus and rice and the harvest bowl (quinoa, zucchini, brussels sprout, avocado, fried carrot), which was surprisingly complex and interesting and tasty in addition to being healthy. My glass of Barbera was good and appropriately priced. The dessert didn't live up to everything else. The choices were standard and unimaginative, and the key lime pie was the version with gelatin that I always find inauthentic and less flavorful than the denser, more gooey version that I always love. We'd go there again anytime we want to eat in that neighborhood.

Overall our experience was good except for the especially slow service. It took 30 minutes to get our food even though the restaurant wasn’t super busy.

Chicken entree with artichokes, spaetzles tasted fantastic. However I believe it was a thigh and it was bony and I had to take out of my mouth. Yuck! Not happy, i had same entree four weeks prior and I thought it was a breast or boneless something. Figure this out please. :(
