I celebrated my birthday here with a part of 11 people. The service was extremely slow. We waited 40 mins just to order. The drinks were very good I had an old fashion. Please DO NOT order the pasta it is terrible needs more flavor. It’s a lot of meat and sauce but very little pasta. The atmosphere was very nice I would most likely go back but only for happy hour!

This is probably the finest Seafood resteraunt in Houston. We very much enjoy the ambiance and the fine service. Finally, we would like credit on our Landry's Select Club card

Very nice place, from the time you pull up, enter the building, seated at the bar or in the dining room - everyone super friendly! The food was amazing - raw oysters and seafood martini for starters, the gumbo was very tasty just a little thinner than most gumbos, the simply prepared/wood fired fish outstanding, and the warm butter cake for dessert just makes you happy! Our waiter Dillon was very personable and did not rush, he made sure our second anniversary dinner was perfect.

First time going there. It was a great experience for our 1yr anniversary. Love how they congratulated us on this at check-in. Great first impression. The waiter definitely knew his stuff. Great attitude, professionalism. Popped up on que every time we needed something or had a question. lol. The food, the presentation, the taste, all was excellent. I would come here again.

Everything was superb! I really enjoyed the variety of the menu. We were able to taste from every dinner we ordered and able to take our leftovers with us.

Our food was absolutely awful. Been a long time since we had such a bad dining experience mainly based on the quality of food. The bill was $220 & the only thing that wasn’t bad was my child’s French fries. Will not be back.

Willie G's is slipping and it's sad to see. I go 2-3 times a month and we've had bad food experiences the last few times. Last week the garlic bread had 4 dots of mold on the top. Couldn't miss it! I even opened the magnifier/flashlight on my phone to further inspect lol... yep! Green dots with white fuzzy perimeters. That's mold, friends. The waiter tried to argue with me that it was garlic lol. We were celebrating so I wasn't going to call the waiter out or get into a back-and-forth, but he was wrong and he never should have gotten defensive and deflected like that. Just bring a new loaf of garlic bread, apologize, and move on. Denying its very existence only served to annoy the table, but we all had a good laugh when he walked away. Last night, I ordered my usual wedge salad, no blue cheese, same as my friend. Hers was fine. Mine looked like they dumped a cup of ground pepper on top. I like pepper but this was insane! Obviously, I had to send it back. Was the food expediter out sick last night? I imagine several people saw this salad before it went out. How did no one think to say, "uh, those two salads don't even look the same. Maybe we should get a shovel and scrape off some of that pepper." Disappointing. Also, the last few times they've undercooked the scallops. I love a nice sear and these didn't have it. We always order the grilled seafood platter as an app and the scallops, my fav part, have been under. The shrimp were perfect. I've recently been going to Clark's Oyster Bar (weekly) and I'm finally trying Little's Oyster Bar next week. Willie G's hasn't really had serious competition until now. Clark's is my new fav place which is why I've cut back on Willie G's. I have a lot of friends and family who insist on Willie G's but I used to go of my own volition and that has changed. They're losing me. The quality of their food has gone down, the prices have gone up, and their competition is kicking their butt. Just saying!

Sat in the bar area at a booth and had a great experience. The manager made sure we were okay, the waiter was very attentive. Great dining experience.

They took a last min reservation for 13 after we were told there would be a 2 and a half hour wait at another restaurant. They were so accommodating. I really appreciate the service and flexibility the staff gave our family.

Very good dinner. They were very limited on the calamari as an appetizer, which was disappointing. But the rest of the dinner was fine.

My husband and I are from Calgary, Canada and we always go to Willy Gs when in Houston. We had a great evening there with our two young grandsons. The atmosphere is lovely on the patio, the food was amazing (grilled shrimp and vegetables, and there was even an unofficial kids’ menu. The service was very friendly and professional.

I’m a regular at Willie G’s and it’s consistently fantastic. I also adore the valets!! We did have one small food issue so diners beware (lol😬), there were 2 spots of mold on the garlic bread. We pointed it out to the waiter and he brought an unmoldy replacement but then tried to tell us it was garlic. No, darling. I looked at it with the magnifying feature on my phone and showed everyone else at the table and there were two green dots with white fuzz on the perimeter of both. Definitely not garlic. We didn’t bother to correct him but it was slightly annoying to minimize the reality of the mold by denying its existence. Yikes… the service is usually above reproach but this time they drop the ball a teeny bit. I’ll still be back! This and Clark’s Oyster Bar are my fav seafood spots in Houston!

A little loud from my pervious times dining here. (Music and crowd) I have eaten here for holiday meals and always had great experiences. This time not for sure if because of the crowd and buffet going on, but we ordered off the menu and a few items were over cooked or barely blanched. Will come back, but probably not during the holidays.

We came on Easter Sunday. We are frequent visitors. It was six family members dining. We will receive our food it was ice cold. Everyone food was cold

Recently had brunch here, kitchen has fallen a bit since we previously ate here. Great pancakes and cocktails, but shrimp poorboy was fried to a tough and chewy consistency. The crawfish Benedict had a really fishy taste which was very off-putting. Our server and the staff were nice however. Too mid at this point.

Aesthetically, the place is superb. Food was well above average, and for the price, I’d expect nothing less. The noise level was medium, but I suppose it was from all the excitement. Definitely will be back for a 2nd round.

We have been.coming to Willie G’s since the 80’s and it’s always a treat. The Cajun seafood is great but lately we have really enjoyed the fresher options like sushi rolls and shrimp and crab martini. Cocktails are well made and there is a very good wine by the glass list.

This was my first time at Willie Gs and will definitely be my last. The food was very basic as far as taste. The seafood was overcooked and tough, lacked seasoning as a whole (we ordered Salmon and red fish). Calamari was also overcooked. The Oysters and the Crab Cakes were delicious though. My server was all over the place she was forgetting what we were ordering had to go back multiple times. She would be gone for 30 minutes at a time without checking in on us. AND THEN.. I ordered a dessert that they brought from an entirely different restaurant and was walking with the dessert OUTSIDE with no cover or anything all around other random people breathing on my food and the outside elements. I understand that thats where the dessert are made but to not cover it while walking all around and outside with the food is crazy. I fine dine a lot and the prices are comparable to other fine dining establishments but the food service and overall ambience is comparable to being at Applebees and those two things don’t mix for me.

Fantastic experience. Roger was an excellent waiter. Great food. Photos of the dining area are very accurate. Beautiful space and great food. Definitely try the oysters.

I was annoyed to have a reservation and then by seated at the much less nice bar area. When we asked to move, they seemed annoyed, said nothing was available and then I would have to wait 20 minutes. We eventually sat in nicer section but the difference between bar and main dining is vast so it shouldn’t even be a question on where to eat unless we ask for bar. Waiter ended up however being very nice

Cara and Trey were attentive and provided excellent service. Trey’s focus on every customer set him apart as a true leader. The cuisine was ‘top-notch’ with excellent presentation! Simply the BEST!

The service was terrible. There were only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant and the service was very slow. Our waitress never checked on us other than to take our initial order. It took 15 minutes to get my soda after ordering. The food was actually very good but I don’t think we would return based on the slow, awful service.
