We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.
Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered fresh daily by "Sea Mcgee". Our venison comes from wild Perthshire deer, lamb from the Scottish Borders. Artisan and farmhouse British cheeses are supplied by renowned Edinburgh cheesemonger, Iain Mellis and dairy produce from Fife Creamery. We take pride to cook everything fresh in our own kitchen daily.
We have outside seating arrangements for walk-Ins only.

Recommended by our airbnb host. Absolutely wonderful scallops and fillet steak. Service was great, didn't feel rushed and for a change service was not included in the bill - very very happy to add a tip as everything was just wonderful.

Wonderful meal, one person is coeliac, alternatives were offered and wonderful, safe food enjoyed. Sat outside after meal and enjoyed the sunshine with wine. Offered blankets when sun went down. Fantastic service, only negative, and it was small, need to practice making Irish coffee.

I haven't been here in years, no idea why! Had a brilliant meal out with my pal, we both had the scallops to start and the special, which was a 6oz rump, fries, salad and garlic butter and herb sauce and a bottle of prosecco. Everything was lovely and the place was going like a fair on a Monday night. Definitely will not be leaving it as long before the next visit!

A warm welcome on arrival, followed by great service and amazing food. Mussels and steak were just delicious. Looking forward for I returning soon .

Came to visit as we had read they served the best Cullen Skink, we also had steaks, chicken Diane and scallops, wine was also really lovely.

My first visit - excellent steaks - a very good menu and wine list and friendly staff. Small(ish) restaurant hence a little tight for space (5 of us at our table) but a very enjoyable evening. I would be very happy to go again.

The ambiance was great hut the service was really poor. Our starters and mains came at the same time and we were forced to finish our meal in half an hour.

We had a wonderful dining experience this evening. The service was so friendly and professional and our food was “perfection” including my favorite “Fisherman’s Pie”. We love the warm ambience of the restaurant and all the delicious and healthy dishes that Wildfire offers. Already looking forward to our next visit 🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Great little place. Nice atmosphere, really helpful professional waiting staff. All food delicious - had prawns and goats cheese parcels to start, and ribeye and fish pie for main.

Lovely small restaurant, staff very attentive but not intrusive… Not an extensive menu but just what we were looking for, Food was delicious, presented well and drinks reasonably priced for location. Scallops, mussels, king prawn starters hit the spot with mains of Cod ( meaty and delicious) Rib eye. Steak , cooked to perfection, Hand cut chunky ships & pepper corn sauce👍 And sticky toffee sweet to share. A very enjoyable visit. Will be back

First class meal and friendly professional service in this lovely little restaurant. Every course was superb. Four of us had 3 course lunch with wine and unanimously agreed we'd be back soon.

Asked for a starter to be doubled to become a main had the scallops with chips , nothing was any hassle to ask for and food was excellent.Would definitely recommend lovely ambiance and felt special as small authentic xxxxc restaurant
