   What an amazing experience - expertly curated menu with knowledgeable servers, fine tuned service and a relaxing ambiance. I had a wonderful final evening at the Wild Sage trying new dishes and flavor combinations and relaxing by the fire. Thank you!

   Wild Sage in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, offers a truly exceptional dining experience, one that seamlessly blends rustic charm with refined culinary artistry. Our recent visit left us utterly impressed, particularly by the standout dishes and the impeccable service. The elk carpaccio was, without exaggeration, the best we've ever had. Thinly sliced, tender, and perfectly seasoned, it was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. It's a must-try for any discerning foodie. Following this, the garlic soup was a delightful surprise – rich, creamy, and bursting with the robust flavor of garlic, yet elegantly balanced. For our main courses, we opted for the sable fish and the rabbit pappardelle. The sable fish was cooked to perfection, flaky and moist, with a delicate flavor profile that showcased its freshness. The rabbit pappardelle was equally impressive, the tender rabbit paired beautifully with the hearty pasta and a flavorful sauce. Both dishes were executed with precision and showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. However, the dining experience was elevated even further by our server, Duck. His experience and knowledge were truly remarkable. He navigated the menu with ease, providing insightful descriptions of each dish's flavor profile and offering thoughtful recommendations. His passion for the food was evident, and his attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The ambiance of Wild Sage is warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the rustic beauty of Jackson Hole. It's a place where you can relax and savor a memorable meal, knowing that you're in the hands of a team that truly cares about the dining experience.    Food was just OK. We asked our food to be cooked medium rare, came medium. Beef Tartare had no flavor. There are better options for the price.

   Duck is an outstanding server who not only knows the menu, but was great with wine pairing suggestions!! When he got bogged down with a large table, other servers seamlessly stepped in to take care of our needs.

   First time we went was excellent and we were excited to return. Second time, the food was not good. The mushroom appetizer was delicious the first time but completely inedible the second and the remainder of the meal was sub par, at best. Service was extremely slow, disorganized, and disappointing. Very sad because we were really hoping this would be our new go to place when in Jackson. Wondering if they changed the chef and wait staff in between visits? Whatever happened, it wasn’t good.

    We are locals and have eaten at both the old and the new Wild Sage. The old Wild Sage when Travis was the chef was terrific. We always had a great meal. Since the reopening of the Wild Sage we have been twice now and been very disappointed to the point that we will not return. On the first occasion my duck was a huge disappointment. My wife’s pork chop was delicious. We ate last night. The pork chop was taken off the menu being replaced by a pork loin. It was average at best. I had the tuna which was awful. The Brussels sprouts salad was delicious as was the bread. The meal was way too expensive to return. Sadly this was our last visit. There are much better restaurants in town.

I’m sorry to hear your recent visit was disappointing, and we did not meet the expectations set by your previous experiences. Our menu changes often to highlight creative, seasonal dishes with the best ingredients, but it seems our changes, like replacing the pork chop with the pork loin, didn’t meet your satisfaction.
