   Wild Sage never disappoints. It has maintained its high standards through all the restaurant challenges of the changing times. The menu is local and seasonal but also retains customer favorites, like the warm pop overs. The green goddess salad was an unexpected delicious choice to a chopped kale and cabbage salad. No one in Spokane presents scallops as well as Wild Sage. Service is always friendly and gracious.

   Our meals were excellent as always! The waiter who was working with us must have been new because unfortunately he was not up to the usual high standard we’ve grown to appreciate at Wild Sage. Among other issues, one person in our party wanted to get a dessert to go. After waiting about 10 minutes after paying our bill, I reminded him of the dessert. He said he didn’t get it on the check and asked if we still want it. I said we did. After a while, he brought the dessert and presented me with another check. I told him that normally this dessert would have been comped since it was his mistake. He said okay and would have comped it but I didn’t feel right not paying since that needed to be his decision without me strong-arming him into it. Oh well—we’ll be back. Just hope this waiter improves…

   Pleasant atmosphere. Very efficient experienced waitress. Food was excellent. Best scallop preparation I have experienced. Deserves its number 1 rating. Highly recommend.

   I have been coming to The Wild Sage for years and it is reliably excellent. The four of us spent a 3 hour reunion dinner, had appetizers, a variety of entrees, drinks and dessert. All were great. Alyssa was an excellent host, super attentive and helpful. We were there on the Saturday night before the Blooms Day Run so the restaurant was packed, and because if that pretty noisy. We had to lean in to hear each other for awhile. I have been there many times on weeknights when it has been quiet. Plan ahead, reservations suggested.

   We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our waitress made it extra special for us! We had a delicious meal and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend going for a date night or special occasion!

    Our party had the Pan Seared Halibut, Filet and Flank Steak with Prawns. Presentation was impressive, flavors were well paired and the food quality was top shelf. The Server was very attentive and fulfilled every request. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a fine dining experience with an upscale casual ambience.
