The food was just okay. Mussels weren’t good. They were so massive that you couldn’t even taste the broth they were supposedly cooked in. Quiche felt undercooked too. Service however was good. Just not sure I’d recommend.

The Goose has such a wonderful location, and a nice dining room inside as well as the very appealing deck outside. But the food continues to be disappointing; perhaps better than the last time I visited, but still disappointing. I had the special sandwich (Reuben), and my friend had the fish tacos.

It was my birthday.. watched another woman get a candle and sung too.. our waiter spoke happy birthday.. kind of disappointing. Husband’s creme brule was rubber and very dark yellow… did not finish. Fish and chip portion was small for price. The noise level was horrible..couldn’t carry on a conversation. Chocolate mousse was very good.

An excellent lunch! Crab cakes were fresh and had a zesty remoulade. Flatbread with Brie & prosciutto was fantastic. The Caesar had a garlicky dressing and crisp romaine. We loved the new decor and expanded bar. We will be back again soon!

Food, wait staff and overall atmosphere were outstanding. Would definitely go again. Would highly recommend to others whether its sitting inside their spacious dining rooms or outside along the walk ways watching the world stroll by.

Food was fantastic as usual. Service was very disappointing. Server spent very little time with our table. He did seem to be better with the tables around us. I don’t know what the issue was, but the service hurt the dining experience.

We were seated right away, had excellent service, excellent food and pricing in line with other Cape Cod restaurants.

They just finished updating the space and bar and the restaurant is gorgeous. Ambiance is great -- for some reason now that it's been redone the two walls of windows overlooking the park and the downtown seems more prominent which is a plus! New chef with new menu is awesome. Great customer service and wait staff. Now to the best part -- the food! My hubby and I have been to the Goose a few times this season sitting at the bar. This time we were with another couple and sat in dining room. All had different dishes : excellent fig prosciutto flatbread, great Caesar salad, fried calamari was proclaimed delicious with the accompanying sauce; and oh....the crabcakes -- delicious with the right amount of sauce and an abundance of sweet crab chunks. the entree items sounded great and are the next thing I want to try. We just did variety of appetizers this time around which was perfect. highly recommend!
