Nice little spot, pretty laid back. All food we tried was excellent. Not any of the hit and miss like some new high end restaurants.

I went here for my birthday dinner and I had an amazing time first I have to mention my server. Kenny really made the experience once in a lifetime. The food was amazing. The service was prompt and amazing. I’d recommend this place 1 million times over I had a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at wicked butcher and every course was delicious. I would however skip the Olive cake. Everything else was perfection.

We had an amazing experience, the tenderloin hummus was a great starter. Steak was cooked perfectly, everything arrived hot, and the staff was very attentive.

It started off bad from the start. We booked 6 pm via open table and when we booked inside seating wasn’t an option. When we arrived there were probably 10 tables or more open. We sat at our table outside and were handed the drinks menu. We ordered a bottle of wine, when she came back the waitress was like “oh did you mean this one?” We in fact did not mean that one. She came as said that they were sold out of the bottle that we had ordered but asked if we wanted something similar. We decided to go with the similar bottle of wine. When she first brought it out she didn’t say how much it cost, only that she would be back with glasses and ice. When she came back with said items she then decided to tell us the the price was 25 dollars more than the bottle we originally ordered but they were out of. At this point we were thirsty for an alcoholic beverage and just decided on a beer. The menu really didn’t have much there, limited options. We decided on a steak which we found to not have that much flavor and was a bit salty. For over 200 dollars for two people (we ordered a beer, a margarita, an appetizer, two steaks and a milkshake for dessert) I found it to be a waste. Which was very disappointing since we drove over 3.5 hours for my husband’s birthday to come here. Will forever go back to steak 48 in Houston.

First time visitor -- celebrated my friends' birthdays. We LOVED the service. Complimentary champagne and light bites throughout our meal. Our steaks, oysters, salads and sea bass were all delicious! Very affordable compared to other Dallas steakhouses. Great cocktails too!

Perfection. I do not casually use the word, it is fully warranted in this case. I wish only there existed a method to give a higher rating. Our server, Blake, is the best we’ve had the pleasure of dining with, ever. He was friendly without being glib and informative without the snootiness that can be found occasionally. His service appeared effortless and natural in a way that cannot be faked. Perfect. Starting our meal with Steak Tartare proved to be a great choice. Not having anything to compare this to, it was our first time, I have difficulty imagining how it could be done better. The small symphony of flavors in each bite was the perfect music to my palate. My wife chose the Beef Wellington and was not disappointed in the least. While not a traditional Wellington, the dish was far more than satisfactory to her love of a good Wellington. My own entree, the dry aged ribeye, was a terrific steak. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, I enjoyed it tremendously. We finished the meal with crème brûlée. Our expectations were far exceeded by this example. A perfect end for a perfect meal. Our first time here will certainly not be our last, but hopefully the start of a long and delicious journey.

Maya was amazingggggg. 10/10 experience. We had complimentary champagne and a small appetizer to start. The beef carpaccio was 100% worth it. We ordered a large steak and split it and they cut it up and split the dish for us! It was a nice touch and made it easier. Also the birthday cake dessert was to die for. Thank you so much Maya, we will 100% be back again!

The food was extraordinary. Kenneth, our server was the very best. He was knowledgeable about the entire menu. This one of the best restaurants in the DFW area.

This was the second time in 2 weeks that we’ve dined the Wicked Butcher Dallas. The week prior we sat at the bar and had a completely different experience. Brenda the bartender was amazing - food and wine/drink were great. Last week we took my brother in law that was in town, and complete opposite experience. There was something wrong with the ventilation and the dining room was filled with smoke and the smell of grease, and food was average. Waiter was not great, and certainly did not acknowledge or handle the situation well. Incredibly disappointing experience!!
