The food and service at White Radish are excellent. I especially recommend the Duck Two Ways, served with diced beet and sweet potato, a terrific combination to accompany the meat. The restaurant is long and fairly narrow, so seating is in a bistro style, but it looks to me that they've increased the space between tables, which is good. Still, the bare wood floor can make the space quite noisy. Voices from one table of four, especially, echoed through the restaurant, and any conversation at other tables had to be conducted with raised voices as a result. Some inexpensive carpeting would do a lot to absorb sound. The restaurant is expanding into its next door space, and though it's intended as a space for private parties, I hope they consider it using it for everyday dining as well, to give seating options more variety and to ease the noise level. All that said, the food and service at White Radish are truly exceptional, and on that basis, I'd highly recommend it.

Being from CT I came to NY to visit my mom who has dementia and is wheelchair bound. I chose White Radish because we needed accessibility. While the food was decent and our server attentive, I was disappointed with the treatment my family got when I went to retrieve my car which was parked a 1/4 mile away. Before leaving to get my car I went over to the host who was standing at the bar to let him know I need to go get my car. Within 5 minutes my son called asking how far I was? Upon getting to the restaurant my son told me that the host came over and told them that they needed the table for another party. Mind you the restaurant was empty!!!! When I approached the host he stated that my family decided to stand in the restaurant which obstructed other guests from entering!! SERIOUSLY!!! My family had to wheel my mother next door to the bagel shop because it was windy and too cold for my mom!!! I was furious!!! But being the only POC in the restaurant I did not want to be the stereotypical “angry black woman”. Needless to say I will never have to ever revisit a place where you spend $200+ on mediocre food to be treated with no respect and courtesy. DO BETTER!

place is cute. staff super friendly. food very good. the blueberry puffs-(their take on french toast) were amazing, as was the chicken and waffles! super meaty wonderfully crispy chicken, and the waffles were flavorful!
