The White Bull is a farm-forward restaurant utilizing only GA grown products. Chef Pat Pascarella gives respect to his Italian culture by milling his own grain for both our house made bread and house made pasta. We feature local farms all over the menu, such as; cheeses, honey, meats, vegetables and fish.
Ernest Hemingway once named a blank piece of paper "The White Bull." Welcome to our blank canvas.

We ate outside under the tent and it was a wonderful environment. We had the muscles, beets, and gnocchi and all three dishes were delicious. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

I love going to Appertivo hour at White Bull! The ambience is great and the food is always delicious. I was a bit taken aback though when I saw they raised their prices on pasta during Appertivo hour from $10 to $14. Seems like a really big jump since I was last in a few months ago.

Fantastic meal! Fresh baked bread using in house ground flour served with yummy soft butter…yes please! And that’s just the beginning! One of the best meals I’ve enjoyed in quite some time. Farm fresh ingredients creatively assembled with fun foraged items as accompaniments along with excellent bar service and nice wine selection. Should you go? Yes!!

We’ve had better meals and service here at other times. A little disappointing given the usual 4-5 star that we anticipate at White Bull.

Everything was tasty from the delicate salad greens to the perfectly cooked pastas, pork belly, mussels and the tender medium rare lamb! Our delightful bartender Emma was helpful, personable and guided us through our scrumptious culinary journey! Almost forgot my cocktail made with the local gin made my taste buds do a happy dance! Manager Scott was welcoming too. What a great experience! We will have to venture back to Decatur for more deliciousness!

First time at White Bull and we definitely will return. Bread and butter and mussels were great starters. Pasta dishes were excellent. Fantastic server! No problem bringing our wine. Wine list if good for a new restaurant.

This was a disappointing dinner. The mussels were good. The oxtail pasta was pretty good. The grouper was dry and unseasoned. A $120 meal should be much better than this. The waiter was attentive but it felt rushed. Like he was trying to get us out of there. Overall, very disappointed.

We were forgotten, had to wait 2 hours for our entrees. We watched several tables get seated after us and were finishing their meals before we even saw ours. Completely unprofessional

I went for the Valentine’s Day Dinner. My waiter Kindra was awesome and super knowledgeable about the drinks. I ordered the Branzino and it came out partially raw. Ended up swapping it for the ribeye and it was tough. The manager was understanding and comped the entrée but overall it was a bit underwhelming.

Love the casual atmosphere and great staff to make you feel at home. This visit however, the menu did not resonate with me or our guests. The pasta itself was cooked properly - al dente with just the right bite - but the sauces were a little strange, like friend garlic that was bitter to the taste and dill on my dish. Will def go back, but not till menu changes.

Tables are bit too close to each other along the bench. It’s blech to have a waiter’s butt right in your face or close to plate while eating or being routinely bumped by it. Cocktails are just OK for Decatur. The Unshod Sour needs to go. But the food remains delightful!!!!!!

Weeknight dinner to take out of town guests. Really great food. So loud, we couldn’t converse at all. The only way I would go back would be to sit side-by-side on some of the bench-type tables where we could yell into each other’s ears, or maybe at the bar.

This is one of the most hidden gems in Atlanta- always an amazing meal, informative attentive service, laid back yet refined. The food is absolutely delicious and seasonal- always changing menu and truly inspired dishes. One of my all time favorites and always exceeds my high expectations

This is a wonderful place for any sized group of friends. The seating was comfortable and flexible. From the time we were greeted at the door until we left White Bull, everyone was professional and courteous. We arrived a little early for our 6PM reservation and that proved to be an advantage since the have “Happy Hour” specials on appetizers & drinks from 5 to 6. Their cocktails are very innovative and delicious. Try the “Science of Sleep” on a cold night to warm you from the inside out! The Crispy Potato appetizer is delicious with plenty for two. Although I can’t eat seafood, the mussels looked very fresh and plump inside. My guest, Ms. Senior Georgia, thought they were soft and delicious. My Pork Belly was loaded with flavor and cooked perfectly. We topped off the evening with the Banana Entremet.. like a take on Bananas Foster. It was a light and flavorful way to end the meal. Cheers to our server, Emma D, for keeping us happy the entire meal.

Our first time eating at The White Bull. We loved the happy hour menu and enjoyed everything we ate - cocktails, charcuterie, salad, pasta, and dessert.

Joined for the NYE prix fixe dinner… waiter admitted he was overwhelmed and it showed… first course was slow to arrive… wine pairings did not always arrive with the courses… one of the pasta dishes arrived lukewarm. As the meal progressed, the quality of the service and the food improved, especially as the restaurant emptied out… but the experience was pretty disjointed and at $140 per person, slightly disappointing. The restaurant itself is lovely and there was an excellent energy to match the occasion, but the food and service did not live up to expectations.

While I didn’t know what the New Year’s Eve menu was going to have on it, I knew it was going to be delicious. I was not disappointed. From start to finish the dishes were all excellent! I always love trying something new that I know is going to be top notch.

Second visit with very slow service. We ordered drinks and an adjacent table was seated and they received a bottle of wine and appetizer before our drinks arrived. Ten plus minutes for two simple drinks is absurd. Similar delays happened throughout the meal. Food is very good but service issues make the experience less than expected.

We had the best time at White Bull thanks to DJ and all the staff. My party of four tried a range of starters, pastas, entrees, and desserts and we were impressed by all of them. We particularly loved the duck confit, the halibut, the beet pasta (don’t sleep on it just because it’s vegetarian) and the panna cotta. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed but chic. White Bull has a lovely wine program and an amazing amaro selection. This and it’s quality of service definitely set it apart from other restaurants in downtown Decatur (and around Atlanta). I definitely recommend White Bull for an upscale night out.

One of the best restaurants in Atlanta! The service was amazing, the food was incredible (you HAVE to get the crispy potatoes as your appetizer), cocktails were excellent (highly recommend the Decaturite), and the dessert was to die-for. Make this a must-do!
