At Whistle Britches, we’re all about chicken. In 2016, Chef Omar Flores had one thing in mind – serve the tastiest, juiciest and crunchiest bird in town. Our pickle brined bird, farm-fresh ingredients and soulful cooking will leave you wanting more. We believe comfort food never goes out of style. Our scratch kitchen is always baking fresh buttermilk biscuits and some of the best chicken sandwiches in town. Couple all that with a great local craft beer selection and inventive cocktails, you soon realize why we came up with the name Whistle Britches. Everything was great. My family wanted to have a different experience for Mother’s Day dinner. The service was unlike any other. The server was able to give great recommendations. He was very attentive and even had great interactions with my kiddos. Definitely would come to this restaurant again.

Food was delicious as always! I could literally eat the deviled eggs all day everyday!! Staff was amazing - very attentive & had us to our table in a timely manner even with the chaos of Mother’s Day!

Great food! We had the brunch tacos and chorizo hash, both were great. We were seated right at our reservation time, the service was great and Abby, the manager, stopped by several times to check on us. Highly recommend!

Love this place! The food is excellent, with a modern take on country-cookin'; and the vibe here inspires feelings of relaxing around a picnic table with your kinfolk at an old-school family reunion.

Service was not great. The waitress seemed more interested in talking to her friends in the kitchen than worrying about her section. Took forever to get our food with no explanation as to why it was taking so long. It was eight o’clock at night and not busy.

Recently tried Sunday brunch here after many regular weekday visits. The Tacos La Dona are AMAZING! Service is great and staff is super attentive, from the hostesses all the way up.

Great chicken sandwiches and fried green tomato sandwiches as well. Their food and drinks are awesome! However today’s service was unusually slow. Not enough servers. But the food was very good. Our server was super nice but had way too many tables.

The service was smothering to the point where we were unable to carry on a conversation because we were continually interrupted. It ruined the meal. The food was fine.

They have a patio so we sat outside. It was very nice but there is a bit of traffic there. But not enough to make it miserable. Overall it was very enjoyable. The food was really good.

Incredible food, I would highly recommend. Went with my father and he said the side of brussel sprouts were the best he’s ever had. I had the chicken and waffles with the jalapeno syrup. The syrup had a subtle heat, not overpowering at all, and overall delicious. You can tell the food, biscuits, waffles, and chicken are all made to order/ made fresh. Chicken was so tender it just falls apart and the breading is so flavorful without being overly seasoned. I’d highly recommend making a reservation though as it gets busy, even for lunch. Hope to come back when I visit the Dallas area again.

Wonderful birthday celebration... very accommodating of young children with a great menu for an adult meal. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, pimento dip was amazing! Just a great meal - we'll be back!

We enjoyed the food and the ambience very much. The menu had some unique items. I’m giving a low rating because our service wasn’t very prompt. We had to flag down the waitress when we were ready to order and again when we were ready to get the check, and then again when we were ready to have her pick up the check because we were running out of time. You may have been short-staffed that day.

This was the perfect place for girls gathering on a Saturday! The food was perfect, our waiter was great. portion size was large and there were so many great choices. We even took some jalapeño cornbread to go! So fun!!

Maria was a good & attentive server. The music was too loud: much more than previous visits. Biscuit consistency had changed: more bready. Grits are great. Disappointed that Orange Marmalade wasn't available.
