This is our 2nd time to Whispering Oaks , and they did not disappoint again ! The food was amazing , the singer was entertaining and fun , and the Sangria or Port is delicious . We will be back again .

Service was terrible. The food was “ok”. On the website it promises a wine tour, we didn’t see anything like that.

We arrived at the winery and it is quaint, country themed building. After we were seated, our server brought us water and we ordered wine flights. We decided on a bottle, she plopped it on the table so I served it. We ordered and she brought the soup and salads. The salad was nice , my sister said the lobster bisque tasted funny but I couldn't try it since the server couldn't tell me if there were clams or clam juice in it. (Allergy). I hadn't even put the dressing on the salad before a man brought the dinners. We asked him to take them back so we could eat the starters. Rolls were served with butter. 5 minutes later ,he's back with the dinners. I'm not sure if it was just our table but it felt like we were being rushed. I put butter on my vegetable blend as there was so much garlic I couldn't eat it. The butter wouldn't melt on anything as it was all stone cold. My steak was blue so I sent it back. My shrimp was opaque and tasteless. My sister doesn't eat rice and I guess you don't get a potato with the shrimp dinner. The garlic mash was pasty and very small portions, probably a good thing My other sister, who was the reason we were there as it was her birthday, had the ribeye. She said it was okay. Same nasty potatoes and veggies. I don't know why I told them it was her birthday when I made the reservation because nothing was mentioned during our visit. Our server seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and was very short when we asked anything. All in all, terrible really. The only good thing was the wine and that was warm. You could sit outside and eat while you listened to a man singing. It was too hot to sit outside for us.

Great service, the wine was delicious, great atmosphere only downside is the flying insects. They do have a screen room if you choose. We opted to sit under the trees! Very cool!

We were a party of 7. Our bill (with the Winery’s automatic 20% tip on a party of 6 or greater) was nearly $400!!! This was for a dinner and wine per person!!! It was at best very mediocre. We ate at Longhorn recently with friends, and the steaks were far better and half the cost. We requested outside for the “ambience”; our table had many flies throughout our meal (less than 1 hr.). It was very overrated and very expensive (most expensive for a basic dinner for 7) ever paid. Also, a demand of 20% tip to deliver wine and salads or soups was extreme and not warranted; kitchen help delivered dinners. We will not return; the flies (which I’ve never seen in FL over the years) were plentiful at our table. What a filthy environment for those charges! We will not recommend to our many friends. Jim

I took my daughter for her birthday and arranged for her best friend to surprise her by showing up. It was a beautiful night, the music was fabulous, as it started getting dark the string lights came on. (I wish they had put all the lights on.), The food and ambience made for a perfect intimate birthday dinner. I would come back to do another steak night for sure.

Steak night was great. Steaks were not cooked properly. Taylor, our server, was excellent!! Wine was delicious, who knew blueberry wine was so tasty!

We had a table of 4 on a Friday night. Three got the filet medallions w/shrimp. Two said theirs was pretty good but husband asked for medium vs medium well & said tough & chewy. I got grilled salmon which was fine. Salad & sides were tasty. We enjoyed the wine flights but the singervtjiugh very talented was waaaaay too loud. We were all screaming across the table to talk. The patio area is small enough that if she had just turned down speaker much more enjoyable 😳☝️

Salmon, Corned Beef, Chicken, was very OVER-Cooked and DRIED-Out. Even the small Chocolate dessert cake was dry. Appetizer assortment was limited and very discouraging. Rolls and butter were fine. Sitting outside, live music was so loud, conversation was impossible. We have been to Whispering Oaks for dinner on other occasions and everything (Food and service and entertainment) was fine. For $50.00 per person, this was a total RIP-OFF! We have bragged about Whispering Oaks in the past, but we will pass on it being a recommendation in the future. The discussion as we left, was where we would go later for something to eat. Terrible Easter Experience!

This has so much potential. Great location & ambiance... beautiful outdoor patio area with large oak trees, koi ponds. Steak dinner at $35 is good value: Note from pics on website: all outside chairs now have backs, no picnic tables. sides were mashed or red skin potatoes not beans. Soup or salad. Veg of day. Both the salad (mixed greens) and soup (lobster bisque were quite good. Brocollini veg of the day was cooked perfect - slightly crisp. Mashed potatoes good. Red skin potatos were fair: they were diced and more like american fries and lukewarm. Steak: hubby had the fillet & shrimp and looked good. he liked. 3 of us had the ribeye & here's where they fall short. Good sized portion, cooked as requested but not the best quality (full of grizzle). Service was outstaning. Wines: all blueberry based & surprisingly good. Try the cholocate one. Dessert: blueberry cobbler was fresh & quite tasty. Great for a group of friends.

We both got the 12oz sirloin asked for medium rare. Got medium but cold. The potatoes were cold the brocolini was cold. The steak was chewy. The only thing good about the meal was the local wine. It was very good. It was an ok time because the live music was not terrible and we had friends with us. Don't see ourselves going back unless something changes.

Always a wonderful experience. Music was delightful, service was perfect, food was excellent. The ribeyes and medallion was so tender and cooked to perfection. The salmon was enjoyed also. Really like it that you’re not rushed. Time to enjoy conversation, good food and don’t forget the excellent wine.

We did have to wait almost 2 hrs for our meal. With only one person cooking , it does take a long time at Steak Night. Possibly if they had someone assisting him, it would speed things up. BUT, The service and the food were excellent, and Darrel, the owner was very apologetic about the wait. We will be going back

Would like to have the option to reserve inside vs outside. We were seated at a high table that was too high to eat at comfortably, and it was out in left field. It was also cold outside and the heater was not near our table. We were moved inside, but could not hear the live music from outside. There was no music, just loud noises from the bartender cleaning glasses. The food was great, and loved the wine. We had excellent service, but was disappointed about the inside ambiance (or lack of). Really did not get a good answer to why we could not sit at one of the low tables under the roof, since we did have a reservation. We would return, but would call next time and be more specific about reservation.

We should have left when we discovered that the $87 per couple advertised on their website was not in effect -- it was $60 per person. Then we should have left when we were about 20 minutes late being seated and we observed at least one couple leaving because their food didn't come after over an hour of waiting. Our waitress was very good but she was clearly overworked. I thought my steak would be special as it was grilled on their charcoal grille -- the steak was done as I ordered, but there was so much grizzle that I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. Sorry to say -- we will not be returning or recommending Whispering Oaks.

The wife and I anniversary is 14 February. I booked this table. Mid march, appointment time 815, on the way there traffic, called, said no problem! Arrive 825, host told me they gave the table away. They was actually letting anybody come in the door ation or not! The owner was very, very, very rude and basically told me to go fly a kite. I said well that's real special, sir. This is my anniversary enough said......

This was Valentine’s Day and I made a reservation weeks ahead of time. The experience was horrible. They were clearly overbooked and could not handle the crowd they had. Our waitress rarely came by and, when she did, she said the kitchen was backed up. About an hour into arriving, we finally got our first course but it was not what we ordered and the waitress never came back to fix the situation even after I asked the hostess for help. I don’t think we will ever go back there to eat.

Worst food in my life. Meat had a funny taste which we think it was spoiled. They brought it very rare and I asked them to cook it a little longer. They brought it back within the minute the same way they took it.

It was an interesting experience (good interesting not bad interesting). Couple of things….the site had (I think it was t-bone?) filet, surf and turf (w/shrimp) but also another steak. That other steak wasn’t on our menu. I think it might have been a ribeye. Anyway it wasn’t on the menu we had. I’m a fan of filets so no concern there. My wife got the sure and turf and ordered her filet well done. It was medium rare. I ordered medium rare and got rare. Especially with such a great cut of meat as the filet, it’s pretty vital to nail the customers cooking request. My wife couldn’t eat her steak because of how undercooked it was for her. I had sent an email earlier in the day asking if there was wine tasting but never got a response. We ordered the cheese and fruit plate and roasted red pepper hummus but our fruit plate has a bunch of grapes and one strawberry. The hummus didn’t come. We mentioned as our waitress passed by and she turned to the guys in the corner and they said they never got that order. Small things that are not deal breakers but compile them up and it doesn’t paint a positive picture for future desires. It was a little odd that the musician (singer guitarist) was going around to customers before going on stage but maybe that’s what is the norm (we don’t usually go to places that have live music). Anyway, we will try this location again and see how that turns out. I’ll write a yelp review after we visit this place again. I read some of the other reviews and it doesn’t seem those commenting gave it a second chance and blasted you all online., which isn’t fair.

Had a great evening with friends at Whispering Oaks Winery. Food was served hot and cooked to perfection. Music was soothing and perfect for the evening. Our server was patient and helpful while ordering food and wine. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy a warm evening.
