I enjoyed the local whiskey flight, but they had a number of others. The Hangar steak was excellent as were the smashed garlic potatoes. Service was spot on, we will be back on our next time to Solvang.

Amazing food, service and drinks. You won’t be disappointed no matter what you order. We had the tri/tip shareables, brisket and pork ribs and it was the best food I’ve had a long time.

Kylie was fantastic as a server. She was super knowledgeable on the menu and very helpful. The food was quick and everything was great.

Great service, wife had the brisket she said it was good but a little dry, had the bbq beast burger it tasted was good, I had asked for medium rare and it was more on the medium side. I know that type of meat can be hard to cook medium rare and I appreciate the attempt to get it there. Definitely will be back

Really enjoyed our dinner here. It’s beyond what I expected for BBQ. Especially enjoyed the ribeye and cornbread. I also need to give a huge shoutout to our busgirl, Hayley. She was awesome!!

This is some of the best barbecue my family and I have ever had! The staff was friendly and very accommodating with our reservation schedule. We were a little bummed out that they were all out of the barbecue sampler. We were really looking forward to it, but there was a busy weekend with a car show in town. We will be back for the barbecue sampler, but we were very happy with the barbecue chicken and the steak bites. Great atmosphere and very delicious.

Our service was excellent and the vibe of the place was great. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t good. For a bbq place, the bbq wasn’t good. There was no smoke, no seasoning, and although the meats were tender (I had the sampler plate so I could try everything) nothing had any flavor or was anything that would bring me back. The Mac and cheese barely had cheese, the pulled pork was bland and flavorless, the brisket had no rub, no smoke ring, no flavor, and the ribs were obviously done in an oven and were equally bland. The chicken that my family had also was lackluster…disappointing because the description made one think it would have exciting flavor but it was just brushed on with sauce. I come from a background with bbq via Texas, Virginia, and N Carolina. Bbq is all about technique and flavor! Your restaurant is in an amazing location, beautifully decorated, and has amazing service….but your food will be the demise. Send your chefs to go learn these essential techniques from people who have perfected it. Let people smell that smoke and experience the flavor! The people of SYV want you to succeed but you need to set the bar higher because we have all seen restaurants and bars come and go because of mediocre food.
