Whiskey Bird is a neighborhood favorite that specializes in cross-cultural fusion plates paired with classically inspired cocktails served in an easygoing space. I must try in VaHi! We had the burger, crispy grouper sandwich and the steak burrito and all was delicious. Don't forget to try their boozy slushies :)

We had a lovely experience this past Saturday evening. I think over the past 25 years, we’ve eaten at all the iterations of restaurants in this row of stores on N. Highland. Great service, welcoming attitude, good, innovative food and fair prices. Worth a try!

We celebrated a birthday here and had a fabulous meal. The food was delicious, great service, reasonable prices. And a great selection of drinks. Would love to come back!

Delicious light springtime drinks and of course the frose is always good. The special sweet potato sushi roll was my favorite item. And my daughter loved the burger and fries.

We shared the Yakitori and 6 appetizers for our group of 3, and everything we tried was delicious! Our server was helpful explaining the ingredients and preparation, so overall great experience. Will be back!

In my opinion, the food was fine. A tad overpriced and not a huge brunch menu, but cool drink options. However, my friend has a gluten intolerance and requested GF bread with her meal. When she received her food, she took a bite and asked the server to take it back to the kitchen to confirm it was GF. It was not. They did refund her and the server was apologetic, but if she had eaten it and trusted it was GF, we could have ended up in the hospital. This was a huge mistake on their part.

The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy. The servers weren't very friendly and the service was poor. We did have a larger group, so that could be why. We had to keep repeating request, but the server didn't get upset. The biggest complaint from our group were the drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so the other options were unfair. There are no free refills on soda and the soda comes in a small bottle. The "sweet" tea was unsweetened, and just plain nasty! The server brought some kind of syrup that they use to sweeten it, but it was still not to my liking.

A friendly neighborhood bistro featuring good food and cocktails. Enjoyed their Yakatori, LB Ceasar - which is more of a southwestern salad than Ceasar - with Salmon, Blackened Grouper plate.

Overall 4.5 They have an extensive cocktail menu. Truly enjoyed the drinks and very balanced. They make traditional whiskey sours. The appetizers were better than the entrees, in my opinion. The fries & brussel sprouts were delicious. Hong Kong chicken and waffles were ok. It's not the best we ever had. The bao benedict was good. It's a very different play on eggs benedict. We would go back.

I had an amazing experience at Whiskey Bird. Actually one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The cocktails were well balanced, the food was fresh and delicious, and the ambiance and service were top tier. I went by myself, and my server, Victoria, made me feel so comfortable. She was personable, kind, and made great recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone.
