My family and I went there on Saturday to celebrate Mother’s Day a day early. This was our first time there, but certainly won’t be our last! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The ambiance was so warm and inviting! If we didn’t like a drink or food item we had chosen, they accommodated us willingly! And, the river walk was an added bonus! We will definitely be frequenting this establishment again! Thanks for the awesome service!

Pulled pork and brisket were phenomenal - potato salad and burnt ends were okay (potato salad is not traditional southern style and burnt ends were past normal "burnt"). Server was super attentive and friendly, and almost talked us into the made from scratch banana pudding, but we didn't have anymore room in our stomachs. Restaurant definitely has a smoky smell (HELLO, it's a smoke house lol) but it was not overwhelming at all. Lovely location on the Flower Mound Riverwalk.

The restaurant is VERY SMOKY. It is uncomfortable eating inside. The food is mediocre. And surprisingly no good bbq sauce.

The waygu fillet is amazing. They have a lot of good appetizers and sharables. Cocktails were delicious.

I dined here with my kids- first issue is that they don’t have a kids menu. How hard is it to make a kids slider with a little BBQ? But anyway. Our waitress encouraged ordering meat to share and some sides to share. Ok. The good- the location was wonderful- great weather and we could eat outside. My kids really liked the ribs (3 kids shared the $40 whole rack) and the turkey was pretty decent. The poor- the sides were frankly insulting and disgusting. The street corn is HALF an ear of corn on a skewer for $5. Half an ear. Certainly not shareable as the waitress had suggested. The mashed potatoes were a solid cold mess. I tried one spoon and decided that there was no need to request hot ones as they were just poor. The waitress noticed that we barely touched them and didn’t ask if anything was wrong. They don’t serve any rolls or bread or pickles or anything to make sandwiches with the turkey or brisket which is pretty much a BBQ standard in North Texas. So all in all I really, really want these Riverwalk restaurants to succeed but they won’t at this price point for this kind of food. They need to offer some family meals and kids options at more reasonable price points.

The food was not hot and left much to be desired. I expected better and did not want to believe the other reviews I had read, but was disappointed and will not return

The name makes me think of a rustic, wood atmosphere. It's very bright with large windows. This is how poorly designed the Riverwalk restaurants in Flower Mound all are, no real cozy feels. Brisket and turkey sandwiches were very good.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner. Service was excellent, staff was friendly and welcoming. This was first time there and we will definitely return!

Chili came out warm, not hot. They quickly corrected. Chili was a little too fatty for me.

Our first visit to Whiskey & Smoke was exactly what we hoped. Attentive staff, good food and enjoyable music. I partciularly enjoyed the Doohickey cocktail!
