Wharf St. Distillery is a two-level distillery and casual dining venue. We serve fresh, seasonal and modern classics for lunch and dinner. Open from midday to late seven days a week, you can also come along for dink in our bar or try one of our gin-tasting paddles. We distil our own spirits on-premise and have the best wine and cocktail list on the coast.

I booked one week in advance for 6 people And requested a table upstarts. I personally call the restaurant and added another person to our table. I asked the male person on the phone have I got a table upstairs? He said yes you do. This was on Friday We arrived on time at 2.15pm and was sent to a table down stairs. I said we have a table upstairs! I was informed by a French acent female person that upstairs was closed While we were there a constant stream of people taking drinks and food was going up stairs. This is lying and misleading customers. I was extremely disappointed in your professional conduct towards your customers. The female staff member then revived a hug from one of the male party goers from up stairs right in front of our table. How hard is it to be transparent and truthful? If you have a system in place why should organised people be treated in this fashion by your staff. Bernard Schneider

Drinks & starters were delicious 😋 The focaccia was fantastic and the local mozzarella is absolutely amazing! Mains were a bit disappointing, we ordered lamb kebabs, very ordinary & overcooked Only remotely warm , i think they had been sitting waiting on other dishes Lamb curry, not very flavourful, & whole dried apricots not great in the dish It was a busy day, & I think the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed maybe! We’re definitely going back for the fabulous Gin & cocktails

Food was great, perhaps more choice for desserts would have been good. A bit noisy but manageable. Service very good. Wine list not as good as before; needs attention.

Easy booking through Open Table. Service great though significant delay in delivering main courses. Food pretty good but not outstanding. Atmosphere pleasant. Drinks expensive and very small volume of wine by glass. Will save for "special" occasions only.

Delicious food, stunning cocktails and friendly service. Mostly geared to adults but we were there twice with our under 10yr olds and they were happy with the Napoli pasta.

Delicious steak, the frites part were a bit soft. Good variety of gin based cocktails. Atmosphere was good but extremely noisey that you cannot hear across the table and chairs were very uncomfortable.

Had an enjoyable time. Entree and mains a nice meal - nothing spectacular but no complaints. Dessert very average. Ordered the coconut eton mess. Three tiny pieces of merengue, coconut cream was nice, not a fan of the fruit as it was way too much mixed through the cream - ratio of fruit to cream was way too much fruit. Felt more like a fruit salad than a merengue and cream dish. Nice cocktails reasonably priced. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Its my 5th time here. Unfortunately this time the food standard was lacking to my past 4 visits prior to 1 year ago. 2 out of 5 dishes were overall not good. The other 3 delicious. The 2 female waitress where fantastic, friendly, accommodating and smiling. The male staff member seemed very unimpressed to be there and we felt rushed by him. The atmosphere was fantastic as always. And the cocktails beautifully presented and yum.

As usual the food was excellent, the noise was over the top , and you couldn’t hear the person on the other side of the table when they were speaking to you. The tables are too close together so you felt like there were four people in your party instead of just the two of us. The cigarette smell coming from people outside was coming through the doors. Would I recommend the restaurant I’m not sure.

Delicious food and cocktails but very small and expensive portions. Left there feeling hungry. When paying by card the system also requests a tip, bad practice and un-Australian.

The frito misto was appalling. 4 small bland prawns, 1 piece of salmon and the rest was fennel. It was sent back. The ocean platter very poor. The bug had no flavour...bland...as were the prawns. The salmon passable. Oysters ok. Even the chips were sent back and the replacement not sufficiently better. $202 later, hungry, we went around to Anatolia for a pide and a shish. Have been here lots of times...but wont be returning anytime soon.

A trendy place to enjoy a meal and drinks. Will definitely go there again. My husband enjoyed the gin tasting! I enjoyed the eton mess dessert!

First time and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and good size portions. Staff seemed to forget about us at first but once we placed a food order service improved. Will definitely go back.

An expensive evening of bad food and poor service. Of our four meals, three were over-cooked, two were inedible and sent back, and we were not offered alternatives. Half of us left hungry despite a hefty bill. Unfortunately, we won’t risk coming back here again.

A very relaxed environment with open air bar feel and the vats of the distillery in view upstairs. Food is excellent and service very good. The options to try the in-house product you can see is of interest to many and added to the vibe. Highly recommended.
