Restaurant was on top of the William Vale Hotel which I hadn't realized until we arrived. I went with my son on a Tuesday and rainy night so the atmosphere was somewhat subdued. The rooftop view of the Manhattan skyline was enveloped in fog but must be fantastic on a clear night. We shared three appetizers empanadas, tempura bass buns, and shrimp dumplings. All of these were delicious. Portions size was modest some plenty of room for "big bites." I had the salmon and my son the duck tacos. Both of which were very satisfying and nicely prepared. The drinks were pricey but the bartender made a great gimlet. I intend to bring my wife back for a date night.

The best waitress I ever had in NYC ! His name was Christian And the service was exceptional. We orders cocktails and the famous french fries, and the were awesome and the view is one of the best in williamsburg!

This place never disappoints. Food is great and fairly priced. Bottle of albariño 56 sounded very pricey. Octopus skewerS were awesome and the fries: best in town

Westlight is a stunning venue with the most insane view of Manhatten. The bar is beautifully designed, it feels comfortable without being pretentious while at the same time luxurious. My husband and I celebrated our elopement with a cocktail and food here and the staff could not have made us feel more special. A highlight of our wedding day!

Extremely slow service. Had to get the server multiple times to come over and help us. I was trying to do a business deal and it was hard with having to get staff all the time.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! We had two waiters. They were changing shifts as explained by the second waiter when we inquired about our first waiter who disappeared after we placed our order. First waiter took about 20 minutes to simply ask if we wanted anything to drink. Reservation was at 8:30pm. We got sit at 8:25pm and we placed order at 8:56pm. We order everything at the same time since we realized that the waiting to order something else will be long. The place was not even packed. Then first waiter disappeared without any courtesy of informing he was leaving. No one came to our table to ask if we needed anything. But, we noticed someone was taking care of the young girls next to our table named “Jake” (overheard it). Jake was attentive to the two young girls next to us and didn’t even bothered to ask if we needed anything. My date gets Jakes attention and requested him a dessert menu and for our waiter to be called. Jake brings the menu but no one came to take our order. Once again, my date gets Jake’s attention and tells him I want to order something. It had already passed more than 15 minutes and at that point I am not interested in any other drink or dessert. I ask for the check and inform Jake that it’s been more than 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order of another drink and dessert. Jake apologizes and informs that he is our waiter and they just changed shifts. Mind you, he’s been taking care of the girls next to us for a while now. At this point I just want the check. Jake proceeded to say “Do you want coffee on the house? I don’t want you to leave upset.” I tell him with a smile and nicely to please bring the check. He continues saying the same thing. I no longer respond and my date kindly ask again for the check. Jake continued saying the same thing. Once again my date says “Please, bring us the check!” WOW!!! Drinks were ok. Food was descent. Nice view. But, There are better places in Brooklyn.

Made a reservation to celebrate an afternoon for a friend's birthday. My friend got there before me and was seated next to the window with the view of Manhattan. I arrived 10 mins afterwards, and Christina at the front was so friendly greeted me quite nicely. She was very friendly and conversational. Since I indicated it was a birthday on the reservation, they immediately brought over 2 flutes of champagne. This was so nice of them. Olivia was our server, and Alexi was the mgr in charge, and he was great. We ordered the octopus, herb fries, shrimp dumplings and the fish buns. My friend loved the food and the flavor was so good. They don't have a huge menu, however their the morsels are quite delicious. We had a small minor mishap, however Alexi the mgr really looked to make sure we were ok and satisfied with the service. Everyone here is courteous and mild tempered. They have mixologists working here to perfect the art of drinking delicious beverages. We ordered the 3 leches for dessert and it was amazing. Overall my friend had a nice birthday luncheon and wants to return when she has more time. The out a candle on the dessert which was a nice touch.

Service was awful. They even forgot to check us into our open table reservation! Also the oven was broken so they only had 4 mediocre things on the menu

We requested window side tables for our anniversary. The hostess was rude and offered us a center table, even though window side tables were empty. She kept giving us attitude at our second request to switch when we saw another empty window side table. Finally, when the waitress arrived, she accommodated our request to switch. Unlike the hostess, the waiting staff were polite and professional. The food and drinks were excellent!

Limited food menu really just stuff to nibble on over cocktails. But the burger was great and cauliflower dip was good. Wish the lights indoor lights were brighter and some outdoor lights. Had a great time overall!

My boyfriend and I went here for Christmas lunch. The location is beautiful with amazing views of the city. However that was the only thing that was amazing. Our waitress was very rude and was rushing us along after 40 minutes. We both ordered food and drinks, my food came out very late, 15 minutes after my boyfriend’s. While I still had a full cocktail and a whole burger the waitress asked if we wanted the check. (She did this twice) I asked her do you mind if I finished 1st! The restaurant was moderately packed and the couple next to us only had drinks and were there longer than us. It was meant for us to have a peaceful nice lunch together however it was ruined by the rudeness of the waitress. I’m definitely not returning to this establishment.

Wanted to return after we had a happy night there before. Payed 50$ for the Uber and got rejected because my 11 year old son was not allowed to enter after 6pm. This was not mentioned on open table. So at least Bad Performance of both of them, open table and Westlight.

We had to wait a long time for our food, then to find out options not available but the hostess was really great and made accommodations. The food that did arrive was delicious and the drinks 10/10 The entire ambiance is beautiful and I would suggest going on a clear weather day so you can appreciate the entire 360 view of the NYC skyline.

Absolutely delightful evening with friends. The view is stunning which was the main reason for visiting, however the service and food/drinks on offer will definitely be back.

The place was amazing as well as Mantahttan view. Foods were delicious. People were polite and professional. I went there with my guests. They loved like me. We left from West Light happy. So, I hardly recommended this place.
