Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Westerns Laundry has won numerous awards for excellence and originality and is a firm favourite on the London dining scene.

Delicious food - especially the fish. We decided to get dessert and were blown away after not being sure whether to go for it or not. Lovely friendly staff and gorgeous setting.

Excellent food in a great atmosphere. Service is great but if it's a pre-arsenal match sitting it is v busy.

Food excellent and spot on. Highlights have been the spelt risotto and the cuttlefish, the porchetta deserves a mention. The service has been very stretched during the whole experience. Most probably the waitress who looked after us just started working there, but her knowledge of the food has to improve. We ordered desserts, rum Baba, st Emilion and the choux ban, the choux didnt arrive to the table, with the rum Baba there was a side of cream, we originally thought it was the choux, but when we digged the spoon, there was no choux, so we asked and they told us there were only 2 dessert on the table: it could have been avoided by stating clearly which the deserts were when they were dropped off the table. We asked who was the winemaker of the marsala sweet wine, the waitress didn't know, she had to ask. We then asked a glass of plum brandy to a different lady, the one who was standing at the door, she forgot, it never arrived. Overall very impersonal and very poor service. What a shame.

Expensive small plates .. . Food was over-seasoned. Loved the cool and trendy building and atmosphere but left feeling disappointed and ripped off.
