Had to chase up wine and then had to ask for water again. Waited 45 minutes for starter which was tasteless haggis croquettes. Main course was good. Would like a more varied menu to include a rice dish. Need to display specials as waiter wasn’t sure what they were and only told us about them when we asked if they had any. Disappointed as other visits have been fine. Still a bit pricey for what you get.

Me and my friend call it out new local 😅 sat in the beer garden for the first time in the sun and was lovely. Great to have somewhere with a decent beer garden. Staff there all lovely

My mum and I booked a table for two for saturday 25th May we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals great service from the staff and our food was lovely we would definitely recommend and will be back for another visit again soon.

Had a lovely meal and wine here, have been before and will be back but only downside this particular evening was that the bill was given to us without asking for it then we were asked to leave as closing! It was 11pm on a Friday night and website says open til 1am Would have been happy to move through to bar but that was closing too!

Food excellent, staff pleasant, only issue was the it took 35 mins for food to be served. Had to ask member of staff to check.

Lovely food Good varied menu but felt the wine by the bottle was on the high side. Maybe something management may want to review.

First time back since the reopening after Canal had closed due to Covid and was very pleased to see it had been refurbished to a modern concept/style. Drinks offering was varied and up to date with the current trends that are on the market and in the trade these days. Only fault was the speed of service for drinks, this might because the bar was busy but as we were primarily in for food I would’ve thought a dedicated drinks waiter/waitress would’ve been in place to serve the diners. My overall experience was good and I’ll be definitely going back!!
