We're excited to be celebrating Bunker Hill Day- a favorite Charlestown tradition commemorates the moral victory that changed the course of the Revolutionary War! Due to the Bunker Hill Parade, Bunker Hill Street will be closed and there will be limited parking in Charlestown. If you are visiting us from another neighborhood or from out of town, we recommend taking Uber or Lyft to 275 Medford Street, Charlestown, and walking up Mystic Street to Waverly. If you plan to drive to Charlestown, parking will be available (but limited) on Medford Street. Bunker Hill Street will open around 3:30p/4pm. We're looking forward to seeing you and celebrating this fun day!

Banana Bread was awesome! Brunch drinks were all fantastic and very tasty. Oysters were fresh, sweet and well shucked without extra pieces of shell. One of our party said the juevos rancheros was the best she’s had. The lemon hollandaise was very good as well. Will be back for sure!

I have been to Waverly several times now and every time it has been fabulous. The food is so delicious, the wine selection is great and the staff is kind and attentive. What a neighborhood gem!

You can hardly see this neighborhood gem from the street and it has only been in existence for less than 2 years. But the food was outstanding (particularly the brunch items), service was attentive and prompt, and the ambience is modest bar-restaurant setting.

Beautiful cozy space, ideal for a date. Food was really good, the salmon was perfect and the lobster pasta was delicious but slightly under seasoned (it was perfect after a pinch of salt and some Parmesan). The wine selection is small but really good, and the cocktails were great. Service was excellent. The star of the night was a banana bread dessert, I could eat that all day long.

Overall very good experience. Restaurant is nicely decorated and has comfortable neighborhood feel. The food, drinks and service were all very good. Encouraging to see that they were full on a Tuesday night with customers who look very much like regulars.

I could not have enjoyed our dinner more. From cocktails to dinner every item was delicious. Our server was very attentive as well. Every dish was perfectly seasoned with love!!

The seafood dishes that have hot peppers are so spicy you cannot even taste the lobster (in one case) or scallops (in another case). I will never eat them again and will tell anyone I am with to avoid these dishes. I order seafood because I like it and want to taste it.

The food and service were terrific. I took my parents here for dinner on Easter weekend, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent food, inexpensive cocktails, and a lovely waitress. I will definitely be coming back.

First visit with a friend and loved it! Busy, great service and food wonderful (avocado toast with egg and west coast green omelette). Skipped banana bread but hear, outstanding. Will definitely be back.

There is a good selection of breakfast/brunch items on the menu. We sat at the counter so we were able to see the cooks preparing the orders. The biggest issue we had was with the service. The bartender is responsible for servicing the counter area. He is really all about the bar and did a very poor job on the service side. He finally greeted us at our seats after 10 minutes of us sitting down. He got us coffee and took our order. Once our food was delivered, he came by to refresh our coffee and then he never tended to us again. When we finished eating, we sat for over 15 minutes before I had to ask someone who looked like a manager for a to-go box and the bill. I was watching the bar and that area was completely empty. The restaurant was a third of the way full. The bartender literrally stood there and waited for drink slips to pop up instead of servicing the area he was responsible for. The couple next to us was also extremely perturbed with the lack of attention. Clearly there is an opportunity for improvement. We've now had a dinner and breakfast at Waverly. While it it literally steps from our home, we will not dine again. The food is Meh , the service has a lot to be desired and for the price, we can do better.

Tough service day - ordered drinks at the table that took over 20 mins. Food was just as slow. Our waitress was sweet and trying - and took a few things off our bill to compensate for the slow service which we appreciated. Thought the food was average - inconsistent menu which is hard because some things are yummy and others are salty and poor quality.

Went for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and had a wonderful experience at brunch. The ambience food and service were all perfect. Will certainly go back.

The Mon-date Night special was nothing but special! It was such an amazing deal for such amazing food. My date and I ordered the Parker house rolls, sweet potato croquettes, steak, scallops, and banana bread sundae. The banana bread sundae left is speechless and it was the perfect way to end the night. The Waverly is a cute, smaller restaurant tucked in Charlestown which is perfect for a romantic or more intimate night.

Amazing food and drink. The waitstaff and manager were fantastic to deal with. Albeit a bit loud, the atmosphere was great. If we lived nearby this would be a regular to visit!
