At Waters Restaurant – Sundance Square, we source the freshest wild, seasonal, and sustainable seafood available. Our style brings together flavors of the southwest, with hints of Louisiana, but our featured ingredients themselves typically speak the loudest. Our Signature Gumbo hastens back to some Creole roots when Jon Bonnell cooked in the French Quarter of New Orleans, while our beef gets the royal treatment Chef Felli has made famous for much of his career. Diver scallops from Maine get a slight TexMex makeover after being perfectly golden-crust-seared, while jumbo lump crabcakes celebrate beautifully fresh crab as their essence, never loaded with fillers just to save a buck. We will never utilize third-world fish farms, cheap seafood substitutes, artificial flavorings, or exploit threatened species at Waters. We strive for only the best experience for our guests, while at the same time being good stewards of our environment and our future.

It was a last minute Mother’s Day reservation for 4 of us. A very rainy day. But Waters made it a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch experience. Thank you!!

It was not that crowded when we went for lunch. We had dined there before and it was good food and good service, but this time it was the opposite. It took over 20 minutes to get our cup of soup and side salad. It took almost 25 more minutes to get our entree. The fries were cold and soggy. We had no alcohol plus two meals and it was over $150. The food and service were not good enough to pay that much for lunch. We had to flag the waiter down to ask for more tea, to ask for bread and to finally get our check.

The mini bouquet was a very nice, and unexpected touch, on Mother's Day. Our server was very good although he completely forgot the appetizer we ordered.

Waited 20 minutes for a table that was wide open. Oysters were excellent. Asked for fish to be grilled without sauce but came as listed on menu. Little things that differentiate good from great. Good meal..would eat there again but not at top of list

John Bonnell and his staff never fail to astound us with the creativity and the freshness of their food. Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. And just amazing. We had dinner as a pre-show celebration before walking to the nearby Bass Performance Hall. The staff asked if we were attending the show and made sure that the food was expeditiously served to us. We had a relaxing evening and were able to arrive at the Bass in an unhurried mood.

Very much enjoyed and appreciated the chef’s pairing for happy hour. The hush puppies were also delicious. Finishing with an exceptional expresso martini was definitely the right decision!! Well done!

Our dinner at Waters was exceptional from start to finish. A unique menu, excellent service, and food that exceeded our expectation. Our server Laurel was attentive and not overbearing. We did not feel rushed at all. I don't know how we could have had a better experience.

From the crab cake to the filet, everything was great. Not to mention the fried goat cheese salad…yum. It was our anniversary and we were given complimentary chocolate truffles. We had a wonderful time!

Such an amazing anniversary celebration! It was like celebrating with family. The staff is always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is always exemplary. This is why we've celebrated many milestones with the BRG family for more than 20 years. Here's to many more! Thank you!

Waters fell out of our usual rotation a few years ago, but they seem to have recovered from the slump. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, the flavors were on point. The price for raw oysters was perfectly reasonable. Waters has now earned a spot back on our regular rotation list.

The hostess who seated us on the patio was gracious and engaging… a good start! Our waiter was attentive and kind. He made good menu suggestions and answered questions patiently. Cocktails and food arrived promptly and well presented. (we liked the silver cocktail glasses for our martinis!) Overall a very pleasant evening!

Stopped in for anniversary and did the wine and brine. It was fantastic. We also stayed for some happy hour cocktails and oysters. Service was fantastic and loved the food.

We had a great dinner. Food and service were on point. We sat on the streetside patio. I wish some light music would have played to distract from the street noise. I picked the patio and didn't mind, just food for thought really!

My husband and sister in law come annually for Fort Worth's Main Street Art Fest and my husband and I have stayed at the Worthington in the past, where we can walk across the street to Waters. This time, we just came in for the day. It was her first time and my FAVORITE seafood restaurant and I live in Dallas. I love the decor, food and service. It's casual yet fine dining. We ate at 4:30. On this occasion, we were celebrating my hubby's birthday the day before and had 3 beautiful goddesses serve us! The head server, Janell (please excuse misspellings of names) is an Aquarian who knew a lot about my crystals I was wearing, who was training Elila (also an Aquarian) and Lindsay (a Libra)- I asked them all their sun signs. Great conversations too. It was wonderful appointed service- making sure we were happy at all times. We started with expertly made martinis served w/ice crystals in steel martini "glasses"...a great bartendress. We started with a dozen oysters and the BEST crab cake (browned and tender) with arugula and dressing I can recall having anywhere. We then had the jumbo shrimp and tomato, arugula and fried goat cheese salad with a special ranch. YUM! Jumbo shrimp perfectly cooked and good lemony mustard sauce w/cocktail sauce. We added the garlic and parmesan French fries with the ranch and shared the Icelandic ARCTIC CHAR with asparagus. If you haven't tried Arctic Char, they do it beautifully! If you like Salmon, try Arctic Char. Sis-in-law and hubby ordered Espresso Martinis which were wonderful paired with a surprise signed and wax-sealed happy birthday card and 3 delicious truffles. We also had the subtle/delicate lemon cheesecake and perfect creme brulee. I stopped by the kitchen and thanked them in broken Spanish, because a great meal has a small army of greatness behind it and people need to know how much their craft is appreciated. I look forward to the next time I can dine here! We learned they have an amazing patio too on the other side!

We had a great time for our date night. The restaurant is decorated unique and refreshing, and the wait staff was very attentive in bringing food, suggesting options to try, and ensuring everything was great. We will be back for oysters again!

We went in at 4:00 for happy hour to take advantage of the Dirty Dozen pricing and try some other things. Oysters-fantastic Hush puppies-best I’ve ever had Service-different, more like a salad Artichoke dip-good Samantha-awesome. Waters is a go-to place for us. We haven’t been to happy hour often but will go back sooner. The service has always been at the highest level here.

Our first time to dine at Waters and definitely not the last. The off-menu roasted oysters were to die for, then dipping fresh bread into the remaining juices…exquisite! We were able to share the fried goat cheese salad and it was good; I added lime juice for some needed acid. The redfish special was excellently prepared and delicious, served with AMAZING Boursin mashed potatoes. The halibut was good but a bit on the bland side. It was served atop pesto with a luscious champagne cream sauce (?) but it would have benefited having more of the pesto and sauce. The crème brûlée was nicely executed and an after dinner cappuccino topped off our meal. The menu choices were so many we will definitely go back.
