Welcome to Waters Edge Winery of Norfolk! Founded from a deep love for wine, food, and family, our craft winery offers a unique experience. Owned by Jason & Dyan Witt, both passionate about hospitality and quality, we aim to make every visit memorable. We enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We definitely plan to return and try a few other things on the menu.

This afternoon was such a treat!!!! The new summer menu has some delicious delicacies - and I can personally attest to the Lemon Basil Baratta. We paired it with the Shrimp Skewers and mango glaze. YUMMY! The new chef introduced himself and even asked our opinion on several new cuisine specialties. We feasted on their quaint patio with 2 toddlers and their mom and dad. I wish I could remember names better, but our waitress - whose son is now working there, too during his college break. Anyway, she was a HOOT!!!! Overall, we have never been disappointed with Waters Edge food or wine!

Waters Edge was the ideal location for our graduation day lunch. Staff were so accommodating for our large group, ambience, food, wine and service were excellent. Loved not being rushed thru our meal and enjoyed being together to celebrate a special occasion here. Will definitely return!

Amazing food and wine. The staff is very friendly and customer friendly. We met the owner and he was delightful! We joined the wine club 😀Delicious wines.

We went to Water's Edge for an early Mother's Day dinner with our toddler, another couple and their toddler. Not only was service unbelievably slow, there was not one ounce of accountability taken by the staff. While our server was friendly at first, things started to turn when we waited an extremely long time for our drinks. Yes, it was Mother's Day, so I would expect a busy restaurant to be a bit slower than usual, however the place was not that busy at 4:45. This wasn’t a dinner rush. The experience continued to go downhill. Everything took forever, and we could not get anyone's attention despite our efforts. When 6:15 rolled around and we sat with empty drinks and no food, we had to throw in the towel. It was time to get the toddlers home, fed and to bed. It was incredibly disappointing for the mom’s and as husbands, made us feel like we’d failed. We saw other tables searching around for servers, and one couple seated near us got up and left after sitting without attention for quite a while. I can understand being short staffed, if that was the case. What I cannot understand is that nobody came over to our table to check on us, acknowledge what was going on, or take any measures to make our experience better. I walked around looking for someone who may be a manager, but there was nobody. The server checked in once, probably 20-30 minutes after taking our order and said our food was coming up soon. That was about 35 minutes before we paid for the drinks with the bartender (since we couldn't find our server) and left. Nobody else ever came to our table... not a manager, not a busser. This was a very disappointing experience. I’m happy to never go back, and definitely never recommend this place. What a lackluster and overall horrid experience on Mother’s Day.

We went on mothers day for dinner and got seated right away but waited a long time on our drinks we ordered first. And then waited an hour for our kids food and our soup and salad that we wanted before our main course. My daughter nuggets were not cooked right and right after that food came out our main course showed up which tasted mediocre. The waiters/waitresses would disappear for a long period of time and we couldn’t find them to ask where our food was and why it was taking forever. When we did receive our food she didn’t apologize or compensate us anything. Some people left because they weren’t being served anything after waiting 10-15 minutes from being seated. I didn’t see a manager or anyone helping with the crazy busy situation that was happening. I don’t know if we will be back.

Restaurant is gorgeous and has so much potential. Service however was very slow and there was about 5 tables there. Took 45 minutes to get our drinks. After waiting 15 minutes to be greeted. Pomegranate sangria is amazing. Would definitely come back for that and give them another shot.

It was my first time there and I was well pleased. I feel like the food is a little overpriced for the portion. I ordered a Blackened Shrimp Salad for $24 and it was the size of a side salad but overall because of the ambience and the people were very nice and friendly. I’ll definitely go back especially for the wine flight!

It was our first visit and we were very excited about trying not only a new local spot but one that focused on wine. It was a busy Saturday the day before Mother's Day so we knew things would be slow but it did take a very long time to get our flights of wine and to get checked on through the day. The charcuterie plate was nice but the meats could have been cut as we did not have proper utensils to do so. The blueberry cobble cheesecake was the star!
