    Food was pretty good, but it was very frustrating to be charged eight dollars for a small iced tea and then another eight dollars for a refill of that iced tea.

    Nice neighborhood place, loved the octopus salad and the spicy rocket flatbread. The Mafalde pasta was very nice however the Spring Lemon Asparagus version was a bit bland - didn't really pick up on the lemon and vegetable/pasta ratio seemed a bit off - would've liked more veggies. Very noisy making it not a great place to go if conversation on the menu! I will likely be back at less crowded time - maybe lunch - or order take-out because I would like to try some f the other pasta sauces.

    We highly recommend Water & Wheat. We have dined 3 times and look forward to going back. We’ve recommended this restaurant to many friends. It’s a nice addition to our neighborhood. .

    Enjoyed the food very much. The pastas were very good with creative sauces and fresh noodles. The meatball appetizer was very good also. They have a nice wine list with Sicilian wines that we enjoyed very much.

    Excellent dinner, food is delicious and unique. Very happy to have found this restaurant. I loved everything about this place from the waitress who greeted us to the amazing food. Location is close enough to the metropolitan museum if you are visiting the museum. Great find I will be frequenting this restaurant.

    Water & Wheat is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in NYC. My server was kind, helpful, and personable. The food was amazing and the tiramisu was top notch.

    This place is so adorable!!! The food was amazing and it’s the cutest little lowkey spot. Amazing pasta and sweet staff!

    It is a small restaurant so be prepared to be cozy. But everyone working there is lovely and the food is DELISH. I had the Brussels sprouts and the Philadelphia pesto. Soooo good. I want to go back. Highly recommend.
