I had a wonderful time and experience! I will be back soon I just which there were more options for reservations! It was hard to book reservations! It’s hardly any reservations open! Now I understand why because of how wonderful VU is! But at least have options for people to walk in! Like maybe set a curtain time and a cut off! Because it took me a month to book a reservation!

We made a reservation on open table but it probably was not necessary since we went at 6am. We were hoping to watch the sunrise over the lake but the Marriot blocks the view. The server was very friendly and helpful when I forgot to tell them I made an Open Table reservation. The bathrooms were absolutely trashed. There must have been a wild Memorial Day party. There was broken glass, hangers and tissue paper and a credit card in the toilet. Their coffee is wonderful though and the hash veggie bowl I ordered was absolutely delicious. Despite the 6am open time all other seating areas had the chairs up and it was pretty deserted. The food was so good I would be willing to come again to see the evening atmosphere.

The drinks were not strong at all. Service was excellent and the place is very pretty :) I will be back.

VU looks amazing! Very nice & clean rooftop & restaurant. HOWEVER, It wasn’t a vibe. They should have changed the music. It seemed like they were playing elevator music. We asked several times before we just decided to leave because it was boring.

I ate here for dinner on a Saturday evening. I was able to make a reservation last minute. The hostess allowed me to select a table that I found suitable. Dominic, my server, assisted me with making food and beverage selections. I enjoyed the corn fritters, hot chicken sandwich with truffle fries and a few rounds of drinks. Dominic continued to check on me throughout my meal and ensured I was taken care of. I’ll dine here again when I return to town.
