Our name comes from the poem 'A Voyager’s Dream of Land' by Felicia Dorothea Hemans, born in our very city and our very street at 118 Duke Street.

Our menu is inspired by the cultural influences of the city, dishes and flavours which are used in tasteful but innovative ways.

Our belief is food is best shared and enjoyed with friends and family, small plates perfect for sharing, inspired by the different cultures that this city brings together.

A place where people come together to enjoy a diverse culinary experience, connect with the city's history, and create lasting memories.

Fantastic food and great levels of attention from staff. The surroundings were good but it missed the vibe of a busy restaurant - very few diners on this particular evening

Great ambience. Friendly staff. A lot of dishes were sold out when we arrived for our 7:45pm booking which I think is still early for half or more than half of the menu to be sold out. We have tried all the dishes that were available and they were all excellent! Would definitely be back to try the other dishes!

Food and service excellent. It is a small plates menu and we ordered to much as portions are generous. Great value as we were on a promotion but you might find it expensive paying full price. However quality is very good.

Dont know the servers name but it was a blonde girl who served me and my partner . She was fantastic and made us feel welcome and at ease , even if she had to deal with another couple who was stuck up as i watched it go on she handled them perfectly. The food was top tier and will defo come again

Really enjoyed our visit to Voyagers, which we started with a pre dinner drink in the bar area. Service throughout was attentive with a good selection of drinks, nice cocktail and good choice of wines. The setting is laid back with a great soundtrack to relax and enjoy drinks and the hotel has been tastefully decorated. At dinner Molly was our waitress and she made sure we were looked after. Really like the open kitchen so you can see the chefs at work. As for the food, the dinner menu was small plates (they recommended 5-6). We went a bit OTT as we were there for a soft lunch’s There was only one dish I wasn’t overly keen on, which was the squash with spinach and dukkah. There were a little too many coriander seeds, which have the dish a bit of a bitter taste and I wasn’t a fan. The other were delicious. Our favourites. Beef short rib was divine and feel straight off the bone. Cauliflower with cheese croquettes were perfect and crispy, as were the triple cooked chips! The grilled prawns in confit garlic were delicious and the crispy salt and pepper chicken thigh was really good. I do think the heat needs to be toned down a touch for the masses. My wife and I like spice but a couple of the mouthfuls were really fiery. Everyone in Liverpool seems to love salt and pepper but no all our friends like heat, am sure this can easily be tweaked. We finished off with 2 desserts, the best of which was the apple and cinnamon choux but, whixh luckily for us was huge but despite being full We couldn’t eaten it all night. It’s a great addition to the Liverpool Dining scene, which is so competitive so we really hope it catches on, it really was v good and we will be back, also just to visit the bar for a drink

While the squash dish wasn't to your taste, it's great that you loved the other dishes, especially the beef short rib and cauliflower croquettes. Amazing experience from start to finish. Service was attentive without being intrusive and the attention to detail on the food presentation was excellent. Recommend the belly pork, braised beef short rib and the scotch egg. Cant wait to return!

The place itself was lovely, great staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Menu is small plates, although not tiny, I felt it was over priced. The food was nice but personally I would rush back for food but may stop for a drink in the bar although Peroni is nearly £7 pint!

Somewhat limited menu selection with some of the dishes taken off. Went for Steak and onion Sandos which was tasty and Char Grilled Black Tiger Prawns which again were tasty if a little messy. My wife went for Crispy Fried Chicken which she found OK if a little tough. We were on a 50% food discount offer which made for a reasonable bill but at full price the bill would have been on the high side.

Arrived at 2040 for a 2100 booking. Waited in bar area and was shown to seat at 2115. Ordered 8 small plates between 3 of us and then waited till 2150 for first small plate to arrive. The food was excellent and the waiters were very good. The initial wait and the wait in between plates was far too long, other than that a very good place to eat. Would visit again.

Went with a group of friends . We all enjoyed the meal and service was excellent . Staff were friendly and attentive .Cocktails were great ! Tried a few of the small plates . Would recommend the short rib , king prawns, pork belly, salmon and crispy chicken which were all full of flavour ! Delicious ! The flatbread was a disappointment- more like a cracker than flatbread . The crab cakes were a little dry . Sides of chips , carrots and spinach were all good. Will certainly return

Firstly my review is based on the fact I went during the 50% off food offer. Myself and my partner thought the food was great, the pork belly was tasty. My only disappointment was the short rib. It was extremely fatty. I understand fat adds to the flavour as it did with the pork belly, but the rib was too much. I left half of it. The only thing that made it better was the fact I didn't pay full price for the rib, if I had paid £21 for that I would have been extremely disappointed. The service is great, but overbearing. I do not need multiple people asking me how everything is every time they pass by. I understand that you are required to make sure I am happy with the food but I was asked 3 times if the same plate was okay. Apart from that the staff was very friendly, clearly trying there best to give a good experience.

It was an extremely pleasant dinner experience with friends. From entering the restaurant, it gave off a posh vibe. We were impressed with the decor and ambience immediately. The servers were extremely attentive, identifying themselves by name and made us feel very welcome. They explained the menu to us, ensured we were well taken care of and friendly. The food was beyond expectations - we had a few of the dishes between us, and all of them impressed that we were making plans to return during the meal itself. Star of the night for us was the tiger prawns, monkfish cheeks and risotto. We will definitely be dining here again, and we highly recommend others to come and give this restaurant a try.

Upon arriving we did wait around 5 minutes to be noticed at the entrance and then we were shown to the bar where we were served with our drinks order whilst the table was prepared The menu is modern , where you choose 2/3 plates ( a bit like tapas dining ) and the food is prepared in a visible kitchen This restaurant is a slow relaxed place with no pressure to eat up quick and leave The dining experience was exceptional , thr food is delicious and the staff were polite and friendly It’s a place I will definitely return to in 6 months to see if the menu changes , and the service is maintained to its standards

Beautiful restaurant setting, stylish and modern with a plush feeing to it. I dined on a soft launch so it was very busy. Plenty of staff and we were served by Tom who was very knowledgeable, professional and polite. I ordered a bottle of wine but received a carafe, when I questioned a waisted she just said, “yes it’s served in a carafe!” I spoke to Tom to ask why I was given this and he said he could bring me another 250ml of the wine . This isn’t in my eyes good. When you are paying for a bottle a bottle should be brought to your table to show you what you are drinking. This was my only negative point and think should be addressed with staff. The food was very nice, presentation was good, it was well cooked and had good balanced flavours. My favourite was the beef and pork, a preference is if the pork was popped under a salamander for a min or two just to brown off the top fat and give it a crisper finish but that is a personal taste. I do wish that the plates were warmed too but that seems to be a dying thing in a restaurant now a days but it makes such a difference. All in all a good place to eat and relax, there is a nice bar area but we didn’t use it.

Most dishes were nice enough without being great, scotch egg was beautiful, but the beef short rib at £21 was extremely low on meat, and mostly fat. They’re fatty as standard but this was 80% fat and should not have been sent out by a restaurant charging £21 for a single short rib. Disappointed overall as the place looks superb and been done to a very high standard

We took up the offer of the 50% off food which they have running until 3rd May. We ordered off the all day menu rather than the evening menu and we were not disappointed. The fish and chips was really good and absolutely huge, we expected a small plate ish size but it is a proper main course size, it was delicious. We also ordered the salt and pepper chicken with a side of fries. Again the chicken was perfect and bursting with taste, fries were also really good. We were stuffed so didn't order desserts but had a cocktail each, again served to perfection. Our greeting was lovely and our waitress was so helpful and took time to talk to us while we were dining. She was also great with other guests too. Will definitely be back again

Lovely restaurant and service very good but let down by the food. Starters were delicious however some of the main courses were disappointing. Fish and chips came some time after other meals and we're very greasy. We were warned that the venison was a small portion so ordered salt and pepper chips with it but did not expect it to be so small that It was served on a side plate. The meat was also quite dry. Serving on a larger plate with maybe a little side salad dressing would make it look more appetising

Greeted by very friendly and professional staff and seating in nicely designed restaurant. We both chose the rib eye steak which was excellent accompanied by a good value bottle of red. The desserts were exceptional. On issue was the restaurant was quiet as this is a recent opening but we will certainly be back as the quality of the food and service was excellent. Nice touches such a local beers, bread and complimentary Liverpool limoncello!

The food was fantastic ( in particular very good chips!). The chocolate and cherry dessert was delicious. It was very quiet - it was mid afternoon so we were in between lunch and dinner but we had excellent attention from the staff in particular Beau who really looked after us. Excellent cocktails and a very good bottle of red wine to accompany our food. The restaurant itself is very smart - we will definitely be returning

Food beautifully cooked. Lovely welcome when we entered the restaurant & taken to our table. Servers very attentive & couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely book again. Restaurant set in a beautiful hotel too.
