Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by our international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

Please note that bookings for Sunday are for our delicious Small Plates menu!

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy. Hosting the full range of drinks and small plates.

Sat outside with friends from London . Burton rd was buzzing Great food . Tried the Volta Experience menu, which was great but a lot of food , so make sure you’re really hungry ! All our faves were on the menu & the lamb & whipped feta are a must !!

Lovely place to sit outside with some friends. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The amaretto sour was gorgeous. Would definitely go back.

Lovely meal. Very tasty dishes. We love the potatoes but the lamb shawarma and whipped feta are also yummy.

Food was absolutely delicious and our waitress couldn’t have been better - recommended a great rose blush, really attentive and brought a great vibe to the evening. Highlights were the whole roasted sea bass and the goats cheese with honey. Always a great meal here x

Second time visiting and as always the food (and drink) is exceptional. Service is friendly and mostly attentive, but can be hard to catch the waiters eye during busy period - to be expected. Can’t wait to come back.
