I lived in Spain, the food here is very authentic and tasty. It is not like other so called Spanish food, which is more caribbean.

Linda was a fabulous server. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed having the chef, and owner come and talk with us. e will definitely be back!

Chef Felix and his team at Vizcaya are outstanding. There were 4 of us who decided to make a last minute reservation on a Saturday night, and they accommodated us without a problem. We brought first-timers with us and so we ordered nearly 1 of every small plate plus soup, salad and one paella. We shared all the food and it was delicious as always.

We are from the other side of the Skyway Bridge so we do not dine in TPA as much as we like and tonight’s meal at Vizcaya makes us wish we lived closer. We love tapas style dining so tonight the menu, the food, the service fit every star of a five star rating for us. I site two items on the menu that were excellent: Manchego stuffed dates and the bechamela stuffed shrimp were delicious. We watched a table of 4 share paellas and the food looked great. Small place, nicely converted older building and just pleasant, relaxing, intimate dining.

Escalivada-Open fired roasted peppers, onion, eggplant, EVOO & sherry vinegar Mollejas de ternera-Veal sweetbreads sauté with mushrooms & roasted peppers Caracoles con chorizo-Escargot baked with Spanish chorizo & Serrano Ham. Thx to Chef Felix, everything was delicious. This was our first experience here but we will be back. All the way around it was excellent. This is very authentic basque food with a little Valencia thrown in! The paella was outstanding and the portion was huge! We wanted to try dessert but were honestly too full!! A nice extra is that the paella is gluten free!
