Another great evening at VIVOLI. Caesar salad and pizza tonight. I didn’t think it was possible for the pizza to be better, but it really is. Delicious 😋

So glad we gave VIVOLI another try. The food and service is better than ever. It was so good we came back the next night for more. The Pizza was more delicious than ever and our pasta and chicken piccata were as good as ever. If you haven’t dined here in awhile, give it another try, you won’t be disappointed.

We love eating at this restaurant. The food is always consistently delicious and the portions are generous. The pizzas are excellent and our favorite dishes are the chicken lemon with capers, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti with shrimp, the caesar salad, tiramisu and so much more. The staff is accomodating and friendly. Do come here are experience it for yourself.

It was a café - a small place, not a restaurant, but more like an eatery or a take out pizzaria shop. However - the was White cloth on the tables and the food was just “True” Italian and very good. We forgot the surroundings.

We took a friend to Vivoli for his birthday. The restaurant is authentically Italian, and we all loved our meals. The service was friendly and attentive.

Pizza was delicious as was the Tiramisu. We took out an order of homemade gnocchi and it was really excellent. Friendly, helpful, delicious neighborhood spot.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was authentic, the owner a Sicilian background and great to talk to. The only bad thing I can say is the parking.

We've been doing take out from Vivoli for a few years--and it was always fabulous. We had never dined in the restaurant until we had guests from Germany who we took there. The four of us loved every course: pizza, carpaccio, eggplant parm, knudi and more. It's one of the best little Italian joints in LA. The outdoor dining, however, is on a parking lot and not exactly scenic. But comfy. I'd rather order food to go but it does get a nice local clientele.

If you pay by credit card and they make an error you're outta luck. They need to upgrade their payment equipment. Otherwise food was excellent

The service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for our dinner salads and we had to ask what was going on. They brought us our salads and apologized saying they “forgot” about us! We were surprised as we have been here many times and we’re never treated like that. Being that we were seated in the room on the left far from the kitchen and staff made us feel not appreciated,etc…

Great neighborhood place. Do a lot of takeout but eating in the restaurant is always a nice experience. Good friendly wait staff. Their pizza is delicious with a thin crust.

We used to go to Vivoli years ago when we lived nearby. We enjoyed it very much. It's so sad to see what's happened. The food and the space has gone so far downhill that we will never go again.

Our first time eating there! It was a great experience. Grabbed a quick dinner before heading to a show! The food was great (the pasta was delicious) and the staff seated us and served us quickly! I had the NY steak (cooked perfectly) and pasta, my wife had a vegetarian pizza! Delicious!

The food is delicious. It is a small place, so reservations are recommended. Service was the only disappointment. The wait staff did not come to check on our table after serving the main course. Also, did not ask if we wanted more beverages with the meal. No, would you like a dessert question, either? Consider it a missed opportunity for the business to have made more money that night. I would still recommend Vivoli. Perhaps it was an off night.

Decided to have dinner there on 4 December. Before we went to the whiskey a go go to see a show. The Caprese salad was good. However, it needed balsamic and some olive oil. Once we got that, it was absolutely wonderful. The rack of lamb was insanely good.

Short version: Don't bother. Long version: I confess I was confused as this place got rave reviews, but, my mom, son, friend and I found it not just underwhelming, but, disappointing enough that we will definitely not go back. The pizza dough was undercooked. And, though we ordered a margarita pizza with extras, they brought us just the extras and not the margarita. Also, the garlic was not fresh, but that kind that is diced and tastes like it comes out of a jar - a bit pickled. Really? At a restaurant with those prices? When I asked the waiter about wines, he said, yeah, we have red and white... and was unable to describe any of the wines, only to name them. The calamari wasn't bad, but was a tiny tiny order. My son got the bolognese (his staple), and agreed that though it was better than the pizza, it was one of his least favorites he has had in a restaurant. All in all, my recommendation: Don't bother. With all the amazing food LA has to offer, this place does not deserve our money.

The food was amazing, the service was great but not perfect and the location was decent but there was a point where a homeless person was very loud and aggressive walking around close to our table while we were trying to enjoy ourselves. That definitely took a little bit off the experience.

Can't recall his name, the Italian chef, greeted us and offered his recommendations of the day - That was the perfect start to our absolutely superb experience at Vivoli. The wait staff is extraordinary and sous chef Michaelo (or Miguel) is talented. The wine selection is limited, but perfect pairing is easily found. We loved the food, wine and service so much that we decided to order appetizers and pizza for dinner. Considering the competition, we where absolutely amazed with quality. The grilled vegetable pizza is magic! The special requests with our Postmates order were met with precision. We're looking forward to our next visit. I'll have to catch his name next time; the Italian chef.

Cool new dining room space with art work. Bad lighting. Needs some music. Wait staff was either bus boys or very new. Struggled to understand them. And they were not very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was just okay.

The shrimp tomato pasta was too salty and the pizza was a little bland. Also the room was cold and there wasn't much music or ambience. Everyone was lovely though.

Got there for our 11:00 reservation at 10:30. They were great at accommodating us. It was late and the restaurant was emptying out but, we didn’t feel hurried, the service was great and the food was delicious.
