Vivian’s Table delivers an approachable take on the chophouse dining experience, drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of the Bristol community to breathe new life into the cuisine of the Appalachian region.

With nearly 30 years of food and beverage experience, executive chef Jason van Marter is the architect behind the menu at Vivian’s Table. Chef Jason uses his southern, coastal, and Hawaiian cuisine expertise to enliven Vivian’s classic recipes with innovative twists that delight the senses and level up the local culinary scene. He is constantly developing expertly crafted seasonal specials made with local ingredients to bring something new – and delicious – to the table. His unique bites pair perfectly with Vivian’s extensive menu of wine and cocktails for a special occasion or a simple night out.

                                          This is a favorite restaurant for my spouse and I. I enjoyed my salad but the room temp sweet potato biscuits I did not like. The banana bread offered before our meal was good but room temp as well. The banana bread was served with rock hard butter and therefore difficult to spread. My husband ordered brisket but had to settle for beef tips because the brisket was not available. However, he said it was tasty.

                                          The lovely stack of Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes with Ricotta and Blueberries was *wonderful* and perfect for brunch! All of us were very pleased with the excellent food (yay, Chef!), the service and the sunlight through the ample windows. We definitely plan on returning :)

                                          We decided to make reservations for Brunch at Vivian’s Table. We were promptly seated and were given a nut bread and water while we perused the menu. I opted for, my favorite, lemon ricotta pancakes! Bill decided on a burger with bacon, sunny side up egg, and dressed as well as home fries! We had our own pot of coffee as well. Food was excellent and service was top notch!

                                          We did not feel like the food was up to your normal high standards. Our servicer was very pleasant but had hygiene issues.

                                          We dine here often and love the food and the customer service. Thea atmosphere is usually quiet and relaxing. On this night, there was a large table that was quite loud and they could be heard all around the dining area. I'm all for having a great time but be cognizant of your noise level so as to not bother others. Otherwise, our dinners were perfect (Mediterranean Salmon and Cajun Pasta), drinks were crafted nicely (vodka martini) and service was impeccable, as always.
