They got the Gullah part all wrong. Service was great, atmospheric great. Food prices would have been worth it if the food was tasty. Key menu items were unavailable (deviled crabs and seafood egg rolls). The jasmine rice was under cooked. Drinks and music were great.

Food was portioned well. Had the salmon and after church dinner. Well seasoned, salty.

I've been a supporter of Virgil's since they opened in College Park. Unfortunately, the experience continues to decline. I went for my birthday brunch on 5/27. The hosts and servers all seemed confused and overwhelmed. Although, my food was good, it came out 45 minutes after everyone else had finished eating. Even 2 people from my party that arrived late, ordered and received food before me. Management needs to really step in and do real training in hosting, service, bartending, and professionalism.

The atmosphere and seating were on point. The food was sub par. I thought for sure it would have been way better due to other reviews. The wings and pork chop were huge, wasn't sure if they were done they were so big. Not sure if I will return but it was worth the try.

Great experience from the hostess to the server!Jordan the hostess was great and so was Will the server/ bartender. My kids loved every bit of the food. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back!

I will never understand how these Atlanta restaurants boast signature dishes and don’t have them available. How do you NOT have sweet potato waffles and that’s basically the only such breakfast on the menu? There are no regular waffles or pancakes, and doctored up french toast sticks out of a box is not ideal for everyone. The crab egg-rolls are apparently only available after 5pm, but nowhere stated. The fried green tomatoes were completely flavorless, but everything else was otherwise tasty; drinks were good. Service was lackluster, but that seems to be standard in this gratuity included world we live in. Supposedly “still being brewed” coffee was brought out cold, and when asked to replace the hot coffee was brought out with no Bailey’s. I personally had to get up and go to the counter to get things we had been waiting for, like plastic utensils, before my food got completely cold, and hot sauce etc. My party of people (and the drinks) made the experience noteworthy, but otherwise it’s a 3 out of 5 at best.

I made reservations online then came and toured the restaurant(first time there) the hostess J was very nice and she put exactly what I wanted in the notes. To be outside either upstairs or downstairs as long as I was outside! Once we arrived the then hostess did not abide by the notes and sat us in the middle section upstairs. If all of my guests had not been there I would have gone somewhere else. It was my birthday dinner and I wanted to dine outside which is why I chose here. I was very disappointed. However, i will not let this stop me from going back.

I was with a party of 18 and the two servers was very attentive. We loved the atmosphere and also enjoyed the food. The chicken wings was very tasty.
