Vinarius is an Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Little Italy San Diego. We offer an extensive wine list with wines coming from different regions of the world; the best meat and cheese board with Italian cured meats and different cheeses to pair with our wines. Our chef Alex makes homemade pasta enriched with our homemade sauces, entrees, pizza, different appetizers to choose from, and desserts that pair well with our port wines and after-dinner drinks. You definitely have to try our daily specials!
Our cozy full bar is also the perfect place to enjoy your drink and food while watching some sports!

Vinarius is the best of the Little Italy Italian restaurants. It is also small - so be sure to make a reservation. Great staff. Excellent food. Fun ambiance. They do it right!

The happy hour menu offers great food and drink for a reasonable price and the wine bar is a neighborhood gem in Little Italy. Manager/owner is friendly and accommodating and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

My family and I went here to celebrate mine and my wifes anniversary. We had a delicious dinner complete with appetizers, dessert and drinks. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Wonderful spot for delicious Italian food.

Vinarius is one of my family’s new favorite places to eat! The owner and the servers are SO incredibly accommodating and the food is incredible! Highly highly recommend.

We recently attended Happy Hour at Vinarius. The food tray they offered was superb and delicious and included drinks. The service by Paola was impeccable and very friendly. The price was quite reasonable. It is a great find and we will return.

The service was spectacular, and the wine list was outstanding. Most of the food was delicious. Our ONLY complaint was the bland mashed potatoes.

The whole dining experience was wonderful. The restaurant staff, food and atmosphere. Everyone was welcoming and made us feel so comfortable, like we were guests in their home. The wine suggestions were helpful and paired perfectly with our dishes, caprese appetizer, then lasagna and sea bass. We ended with an after dinner drink and an Tiramisu. Amazing food! Thank you for a memorable dinner! We will definitely recommend to others and return ourselves when in San Diego area.

We had an awesome dinner. The host and waitstaff were wonderful. Our waiter recommended a delicious wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you are in San Diego, you should plan on eating dinner there.

After hours of reading reviews we decided to spend our anniversary dinner at Vinarius. When it comes to food it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Immediately we were greeted with a warm smile and escorted to our table. Everything we had from fish tartare to lobster ravioli was amazing. The service was exceptional and food was amazing, we highly recommend!

Best Italian restaurant in Little Italy. The food is beyond delicious, the atmosphere is quaint and cozy and you can actually carry on a conversation. Imagine that! The service is outstanding and I don’t say that lightly. They actually want you there and seek to ensure your dining needs are met. 11/10

Amzing food, drinks, and service. We were a group of 4 and shared everything. We ordered, salmon, Chilean Sea Bass and risotto, lamb, and Cesar salad. Everything was delicious!!!

This is definitely the best restaurant in Little Italy, we started with the artichokes that were awesome and then the four of us went with different dishes. Pappardelle ragu and funghi, sea bass, fettuccine alle vongole, seafood special of the day clams, shrimp etc. all were delicious and Marco was great. I will be back soon!

The staff greeted with hearty welcome that prepared us for a cozy, personal, excellent dining experience. The personal attention continued. Though a small space overall, the touches and service were special. Great ambiance and comfort and the food was delightful.

Amazing meal, service, and ambience! I am still thinking about my dinner because it was so delicious. We started off with the frito misto, which was a generous portion of calamari and shrimp. It had a light tempura batter and great seasoning. For my entree, I ordered the raviolis stuffed with crab and shrimp topped with a lobster tail. This is one of the best dishes I’ve had in San Diego! It came in a creamy vodka sauce and I ate every bite. The service was so attentive and I love that they timed out everything perfectly. They were able to provide great wine recommendations and the overall atmosphere was very cozy. Can’t wait to go back!

We were in San Diego for a cruise and to see the town prior to the cruise and this place had been recommended to us by neighbors. The food was great, the wine list good, the deserts and the service were great. The restaurant did a good job with gluten free options, which me and my wife are both gluten free. This place in little Italy from the outside doesn't look like much but the service and food are worth visiting. This place is in walking distance from the Cruise port and the hotels that are located near the cruise port. We walked to the restaurant in 5 to 10 minutes and felt safe walking. The service was great as the waiter brough us lemon cello to close out our meal with the desert. I had a seafood and pasta dish that was great and the picture is included. Me and my wife had our daughter with us and all three of us enjoyed our meal and our time at this restaurant. The drinks were good as I had an old fashion and it was mixed well and had a good bourbon taste with that hint of sweet. Overall we would go back when in San Diego as this place is just hits all of the button for a pleasant dinning experience.
