Food was good but not great. The seafood risotto was excellent and the other dishes were decent. Service was just ok. Waiter seemed overwhelmed as it took a long time to get initial drink orders and bread. He also seemed easily irritated by questions and additional dessert requests. Everything is more expensive nowadays and this place is no exception.

Went to celebrate our anniversary. Ordered pasta. Husband ordered 3 kinds of meat in 1 platter. Requested filled mignon to be cooked medium rare, it came out well done, they replaced it though and gave is complimentary desserts. Will keep coming back

We went to Vigiluccis Steakhouse. It is amazing. This Vigiluccis was horrible. Service was very impersonal. Choices on Mothers Day were limited. Everything served was extremely expensive small portions and not appetizing. I will not go back.

Food was great, service was good. Only downside was they couldn’t seem to figure out how to keep the door we sat next to closed. I got up and closed it myself at least 5-6 times. It was cold outside and my kids kept getting cold.

We had a lovely evening celebrating my daughter’s engagement with friends. We were treated so well and they were excited for her as well!! Made us all feel special!!! And the food is always great!!!! 💙

Great ambience, excellent service and amazing food. One of the BEST Chicken parmesan I’ve ever had!!! Artichoke appetizer was to die for & Ribeye steak just melt in your mouth! Always dine here when visiting Carlsbad.

We met with old friends to catch up and enjoy some fine Italian Cuisine; we’re not disappointed. Ambiance was super, music did not overpower our conversation and the food was spectacular! Felt a little rushed by our server, although the dining room was not full at all. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner. We ordered oven baked artichoke hearts for our appetizer. We shared it. It was delicious. Our main course was Baked Halibut and Sea Food, clams, scallops, shrimp on pasta. Also a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. For desert, we ordered Spumoni and Affogato. The customer service was very good.

We have enjoyed the sister location near the water and decided to try the cantina. Wow!!!! This place was awesome and the service was exceptional. We are from the Antelope Valley and come to Carlsbad twice a year. Will surely return.

It was raining so they needed to seat more people inside. But we made a reservation and were seated at a table for 3 that was placed in the middle of a busy waiter intersection. Our waiter was not good. We had to ask for a cocktail, he never asked if we’d like another or wine with dinner, and the biggest sin of all is clearing plates before everyone has finished eating. Vigilucci is an institution in Carlsbad, but there was nothing to rave about this dinner.

This is an elegant restaurant with class but where you can wear jeans and a baseball cap if you want to. It has a relaxing, Old Italian feel with Frank Sinatra's classic voice softly serenading you in the background. The sharply dressed staff, is always moving, checking on the culinary desires of their guests. They all speaking in Italian to each other but then suddenly speak perfect English to accommodate everyone sitting at their white cloth tables. The Calamari was crisp and lightly breaded mixed with fried baby shrimp, it was a very pleasant surprise. I had the Alfredo with shrimp and added a Scallop for which they actually gave me two, which were large, perfectly browned and fork tender. The sauce was creamy cheesy delicious. My Girlfriend ordered the Ravioli filled with spinach and cheese, covered in a thick Crumpled Meat Marinara Sauce so thick you could eat it as a meal in itself. The portions are very generous here as we packed up half of each of our dinners to enjoy at home. Enjoy !!!!!!

As usual the food was outstanding. The service was a little short this time. They brought the soups out with the entrees. The server then looked at the table and said how did that happen. But the food is so good we looked past this little mistake.

Vigilucci’s Cucina Italiana provided us a very nice meal and excellent service. The Fettuccine de Salmone was delicious and very generously portioned. The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday night we visited and the ambient noise was quite high. Other than that minor issue, this was a very nice anniversary dinner.

We've been there several times so it was surprising that my pasta with vodka so was so bland, particularly given their prices. Not sure we'll be going back. If you're going to charge high prices the food better be exceptional every time.

Very enjoyable patio lunch- salad with calamari delicious and great value, large portion. Carpaccio excellent.. and salmon salad , very good smaller portion. Great service , quiet environment.. a lovely lunch !

Dinner was delicious, great veal piccata, my favorite. Husband loved the seafood pasta, said it was one of the best he’d had!
