Casual contemporary dining from Victuals & Co, Deal. We are a local, independent restaurant giving diners a touch of charm and elegance but also with a casual and inviting atmosphere. We strive to offer diners a friendly, accomplished service and, most importantly, an interesting high-quality menu using fresh locally sourced ingredients wherever practical and possible.

Vegetarian as well as fish and meat dishes are a standard feature on the menu. Kent’s farmers and growers feature strongly as our main suppliers of organic and free range poultry, meat and other fresh produce.

Kent vintages feature heavily on our wine list along with a wide selection of wines from around the globe.

Fabulous Sunday roast. Went late afternoon so not busy but food was plentiful & very tasty. Lots of it too, couldn't manage dessert.

Excellent service from Robert & Karen, food was absolutely amazing, very beautiful and quaint restaurant....definitely retuning! They 💯 know how to care for thier customers. Highly recommended.

Quite simply the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in years. We had a long wait, but it was worth it. Fabulous meat, perfectly cooked vegetable selection, all highlighted with subtle flavours. As for the Yorkshire…. We’ll be back.

Sunday lunch: welcome and service great, if 'relaxed pace'. Overall atmosphere pleasant, though inevitable loud posh bloke mildly irritating. Sardine starter OK, lamb main course good, slightly modernised, take on Sunday roast. Vegetarian main course adequate, if distinctly unadventurous. Drinks reasonable priced and interesting wine list. All in all, a pleasant lunch but not one for the travel guides. Oh, and Irish music for St Pat's day.......

Excellent Sunday lunch. Maybe prefer a roasting joint for beef rather than braise. Rib or sirloin. Coffee came before pudding, should either be with or after! Robert delightful as ever.

Our second visit to this fabulous restaurant. Food & service always outstanding. Staff are very helpful, welcoming & friendly. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary & the staff added a few extra touches to make our evening special & memorable. Thank you! We will return! PS the Christmas cocktails are out of this world!

5 of us went for dinner on a Sunday night. Victuals was reasonably busy but we were given a lot of attention by Rob. the General Manager. He changed the veggie option to suit what my friend wanted which she appreciated. He has a great knowledge of the food, ingredients & wine list. Would deffo. recommend, right now, this is my fave Deal restaurant.
