Neighborhood gem. What a find. Replaced Louise’s. Authentic northern Italian with inventive additions. Side of Brussel sprouts delicious. Family owned. Owner and chef Lucio on site. Very welcoming. Service extremely attentive. For those who miss Louise’s, they have a back door take out of Louise’s favorites available from a different kitchen.

Amazing service. Phenomenal food. We shared the pasta special with a lemon cream sauce and caviar. Asked for them to go light on the sauce and it was divine. We then shared the whole grilled branzino was prepared perfectly. We added the charred broccolini for a well rounded meal. Shout out to our server who offered us a few wines to taste before committing to a glass. He recommendation was the best. Will definitely be going back.

Food was great! Nice selection on the menu and nice sized servings. The restaurant is clean and new but unfortunately no vibe at all. Would love to see what some nice lighting, rugs, art, candles and music could do to the overall ambiance.

Our recent dining experience at Vicini in West Los Angeles left us with mixed feelings. The restaurant's approach of serving the first and second courses all at once was a bit disappointing, as it didn't allow us to fully savor each dish before moving on to the next. This resulted in some hot dishes cooling down too quickly and cold dishes not being as refreshing as they could have been. Moving on to the wine list, we found it to be average, and unfortunately, the glasses of wine we ordered didn't quite match the small taste we were given before making our final selection. However, the main course, when it arrived, was beautifully presented and turned out to be the highlight of our meal. In terms of ambiance, Vicini leans towards a stark vibe, with most guests dressed in casual attire such as jeans and t-shirts. We opted for business casual attire, which felt a bit out of place given the overall relaxed atmosphere. On a positive note, the server was very attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. In conclusion, our experience at Vicini was average. While there were some standout elements, such as the main course and attentive service, the timing of the courses and wine selection left room for improvement.

This was our first time at Vicini. The experience was very, very good and we both shall return. The service was excellent with just the right amount of time between courses. The food was perfectly prepared and presented, except for one overall comment. The chef has a slightly too heavy a hand when it comes to salt. That did not stop us from finishing every last bite of food on our plates. By the way, order their bread -- it is freshly baked to perfection.

If you want authentic Northern Italian cuisine this is the place! Amazing food made from scratch, enjoy the live link of Venice in the bar. Great brunch menu as well, the french toast is incredible!!!

This was our second visit, and this place does NOT disappoint. I almost don't want to review it lest the crowds ensue, but owners Jennifer and Lucio promised to give us reservations in the future. The food here is so amazing that my son ate TWO breakfasts, after tasting a bite of mine. We got wonderful service from Christiana, Leo, and Diana both times we came. I want to return once a week until I've tried everything on the menu! My son told Chef Lucio Bedon he was better than Gordon Ramsay. A definite must try. Five stars from everyone in my family!

I absolutely love this neighborhood restaurant. The food is truly great and authentic. I have eaten dinner four times and brunch once. I have never had a bad experience and each has been better than the last! I am a frequent diner at Italian restaurants (my favorite food) and this is literally my favorite place in LA! Service is also amazing. Run don’t walk! This place is the best!

We celebrated our anniversary at Vicini's! The food was delicious. The presentation of the grilled octopus was very creative. The branzino was cooked perfectly. The chief, Lucio, walked through the restaurant to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The waiters were very friendly and checked on us to see if we needed anything several times. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Love the restaurant! Food is great, service & welcome excellent. So important to support a neighborhood, family owned restaurant. Lots of nostalgia as it is the old Pico Louise’s which has been nicely renovated. Vicini has a yummy Italian/continental menu & they also run a To Go kitchen with the Louise’s menu, items cooked well. Nice place to sit and talk. GO!

We went for early brunch and notes are for that timeframe. The food was more than delicious and expertly prepared. Service was friendly and helpful. It was quiet enough to have a conversation without straining to hear. Loved it.

We held a birthday party for eleven people in the private room. Service was attentive and congenial, pacing with excellent, the food was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and we were all able to converse easily. Universally positive responses from all. Favorite items included the tuna carpaccio, the bruschetta, the carbonara, and the mushroom chicken. This is a very comfortable, very reasonably priced spot for delicious neighborhood meals.

We really enjoy eating at Vicini! It posses the perfect mix of quality, tasty foods in a comfortable, relaxed environment. We love having this as a local spot for “date night” and have several favorite items we routinely order including spaghetti carbonara, prosciutto & melon, bruschetta, tagliatelle bolognese, squash blossoms (to name a few).

We dined here on Valentine's Day evening and I'm very glad we chose Vicini. They offered a 5-course meal with 2-3 choices for each course. The flavors were spot on, the quality of the food is top notch and the portions were just right. There was also enough time between the courses to sip our wines and enjoy our conversation. Good selection of wines by the glass, all from Italy, which worked for me as I love Italian wines. We'll definitely be back on another evening to check out the regular menu as well. My only gripe is the scarcity of parking and no valet. We had to park in the Pep Boys lot because all the street parking was either taken or restricted to residents.

We had the Valentines Day dinner and it was spectacular! Started with crab cake and seafood tartar, Linguine with tomatoes and shrimp, lobster tail with asparagus… all delicious. The tables are not on top of each other, the music wasn’t blaring so we could actually have a conversation. The service, (thank you Ashlynn) et al was impeccable! Loved that there was new silverware with each course. A perfect evening.

I’m Italian and the only thing that I can say is that this place is my new fav Italian restaurant in LA. High quality of the ingredients , real Italian taste that brought me back to Venice for one night.
