We were celebrating our wedding anniversary that night and Levanti who was our server went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated. From the beginning he greeted us with champagne, gave us the best recommendations, and to end the night with a cherry on top, he celebrated us with the most amazing bananas foster dessert I have ever had! I had the catch of the day which was so good, and my husbands hamburger was top.I highly recommend this place!!

Great meal with people that I had not seen in awhile. No hurrying of service and the food was great from cocktails to dessert. Mary Ann gave prefect service.

Busy on a Tuesday off season but Veronica impresses every time! Love that the manager talks to all the tables and is always helping out- they even added caviar to the menu which looked amazing! We had our usuals but can’t wait to go back for the new items- bartenders fastest in Sarasota! We love Veronica!

We had a great dining experience at Veronica’s! Our table ordered oysters, Brussels sprouts, chicken pate, bib salad, Caesar salad, Grouoer, Lobster pasta and a Red Fish special. All were delicious! We were celebrating a birthday (noted in our Open Table reservation) and were surprised with a Bananas Foster dessert, complete with lit candle, for the birthday girl (me)… Marci, our server, was very engaging with lots of fun energy! We will definitely return in the future!

I expect a pleasant environment where I can have a conversation with my table mates without having to shout because the music is blaring and inappropriate for a Restuarant of this price range. Managers excuse was the selections were determined by corporate and he did not have any say while our delightful but overworked waitress extolled that this was a locally owned and managed. I can have a more experience at home.

The appetizers were really incredible, maybe the best in Sarasota. The entree options are somewhat limited and were not appealing to some members of our party. My skirt steak was well done despite ordering it medium rare. Service and ambience were both good.

The crispy avocado roll appetizer is always my favorite. Muscles were exceptional. The portions of our food were generous. And my gumbo I believe is the best in Sarasota. And a big shoutout to Becky our waitress! The best!!!

We have eaten here a few times, always enjoy it. Was looking forward to having oysters this time but didn’t care for the selection offered this time, both options were large (prefer small or medium) and from MA. Would have like to see a restaurant with “Oyster” in its name have more than 2 varieties and at least of different locales. I got the Redfish which was the Market Fish and while it was cooked perfectly, that fish has a very mild taste and really needed a more flavorful sauce - all perfectly prepared but sadly, a bit bland. Overall it was a good experience, my husband really liked his Thai Crispy Fish and we had a nice evening. Will be back

What a lovely dinner. The ambience was welcoming and warm, and the food was delicious. The herb salad with the catch of the day and the grouper were exceptionally tasty. The bananas foster flavored bread pudding was divine. We went here for our anniversary and the staff helped make it relaxing and memorable. We will definitely be returning again.

Sat outside b/c indoors was cold and noisier than we like. A little delay in getting our orders taken, but server apologized and could not have been nicer. Brussel sprouts, mussels, Mahi BLT, and chicken Milanese were fantastic. Chocolate Mousse was out of this world. We will return!

We had a wonderful time…not sure why we have not ventured here before this visit; but glad we finally did. Comfortable, vibrant, friendly…all describe Veronica. The food was great…burger and fries are show stoppers and the oysters we opened with were delicious. Next time we do seafood…and maybe another burger. Our server Marsi was perfect…cant wait to come back and enjoy her energy and smile again. Thanks to all for a really nice evening.

Another wonderful experience at Veronica's! This is the first time we've dined here on a Friday evening, and it was certainly busier than other times we've been there, and hence, it was pretty loud inside and difficult for us to hear our server and each other. We're not hard of hearing either.. it was just busy, and people were having fun! Not a bad thing. Service was a little slower than what we'd experienced in the past, but again, a Friday night full house explained that. Our meals were excellent! Three out of four had the Thai Red Snapper (whole fish). Very, very tasty, but I'm not sure about the $75 price tag. It was a large fish though.. and if your appetite isn't huge then it's probably enough to share, especially along with an appetizer. Great cocktails, friendly service, wonderful ambiance! The only suggestion I might have is that it would have been nice to have an option or two for a light dessert. There were only four dessert options, and all were quite heavy. Creme brulee would be something I would have ordered, or maybe just a single scoop of sorbet or ice cream. Instead, none of us opted for a dessert. Other than that, it really couldn't have been better!

Veronica’s was fantastic! Always is! Red fish & Branzino was fabulous. Fish & oysters are always so delicious! Calamari was great! Brandon our waiter was very attentive and so professional. We will of course be back!

Our second visit in as many weeks, and we were equally impressed. The food is fresh and delicious. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. Veronica's is fast becoming our favorite restaurant in all of Sarasota.
