The food was outstanding- not super heavy like some Italian places that load up on cheese. Instead Valentino’s chefs prepared rich flavorful sauces on fresh in-house pasta! The waiter was super nice but not in our business, they brought us a delicious tiramisu for desert with a candle for our anniversary. We will be back soon

Table side Caesar salad was way too strong with both garlic and anchovies. Salmon dinner was too salty. Halibut was fairly good. Veal Parmesan tastes like it was premade and put back in microwave. It wasn’t hot or crispy. The cheese had already hardened. Overall very disappointed in the meal.

Valentino’s is a terrific, traditional Italian restaurant. We love sitting outside while we enjoy their excellent calamari, Caesar salad, and the tasty main courses. The veal dishes are great, as are all the seafood dishes.

Great spot in Midtown. Authentic Italian. Delicious food all around. Fish, pasta, meats, salad. Great server, down to earth and welcoming. Will certainly return.

Excellent dining experience. Make the Caesar salad at your table and the bananas foster dessert at the table. All of the food is delicious. The service is wonderful. This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Nashville.

Had a very nice dinner. The Bone-in Veal Parmesan is very good. The pasta meals we had were a “B”. Service was excellent. Value was ok.

This restuarant knows how to deliver on some many fundamentals of the long lost art of dining out. The servers are a joy. Beyond being personable they know how fine dining is supposed to be. The menu portions reflect a touch of classic New York sized Italian fine dining. My friend and I split everything and were well fed. And they execute their classic menu with enough with care that takes it a step up without going edgy. A great choice for those who miss classic fine dining.

We've frequented Valentino's on numerous occasions in the past, often selecting it for special celebrations. While we adore the cuisine, it's the ambiance that truly captivates us. The intimate setting, coupled with superb food and exceptional service, consistently draws us back time and time again. However, our recent visit fell slightly short of our expectations. While the food remained excellent, our waiter seemed somewhat rushed, which was surprising given the modest number of guests. Our interactions with him were brief and impersonal, a departure from our previous experiences. Fortunately, his assistant (apologies for not catching her name, she was a tall blonde lady) compensated for this with her more engaging demeanor. However, one peculiar aspect stood out at the end of our meal. While we appreciated the gesture of receiving dessert for our anniversary, it was the sole offering presented to us. (not expecting a freebie, either) There was no mention of other dessert options or even a suggestion of coffee. Our waiter swiftly moved in and out, leaving us with no opportunity to inquire further.
