Welcome to Valencia! It's our pleasure to serve our community located in beautiful, historic downtown Covington. Valencia brings alive the spirit of New Orleans, Louisiana and Valencia, Spain in an eclectic combination of flavors to dazzle your palette. We pay homage to the traditional cuisine from these areas with the addition of flavor infusions from both regions!

Unique and fun experience with great food. Adventure outside your comfort zone and try the squid ink paella it’s off the charts good.

Valencia’s food quality is quite good. The Valencia hamburger was as good as you can find anywhere on the north shore, though y he prices seemed a bit high, competitively speaking. Tthe burger was about $5 higher than a local steak house chain, but the service was great (ours was the only table filled at lunch that day) and the outdoor seating was very pleasant. We will go back for special occasions.

I don’t understand why restaurants have to have bass driven one beat, repetitive music. We were originally seated right under the speaker but the server was kind enough to move us to the other room. Table of 4…each ordered a different Tapas. All were very good. I ordered the Mahi Mahi entree…it was over cooked and served tepid at best. The Vermont 75 was very good, the red sangria did not have any flavor, almost watered down.

Hi Lisette, I"m so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Valencia! We do strive for all our customers to be happy and leave full! You mentioned that your Mahi was over cooked, I apologize about that. Did you tell your server so we can let the chef know and get you a replacement or something else? As for the Sangria, we acquired that recipe from a family from Valencia, Spain and I assure you that is as close to authentic that you can get! I see that you enjoyed a lot of what you ordered but still rated us poorly and put that you would not recommend us! We would love to have you back with a guest and have dinner on us to change your mind about us! Being a local small restaurant reviews really affect our business! What a wonderful experience of culture, exquisite food, and exceptional service! You feel like you step into an authentic Spanish restaurant. The ceviche was delicious! The paella was better than expected! And the skirt steak was out of this world!! We will return.

Absolutely incredible! From start to finish, everything about our meal was amazing. We ordered the paella, which is their house specialty, and for good reason. It was fresh and delicious with an abundance of perfectly seasoned seafood. It was everything we could possibly hope for and is a dish we'll dream of until we have the chance to come back for seconds. We also got the shrimp with grits, ceviche, and the pork belly appetizer. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals and left the restaurant very happy. Overall, we had a spectacular meal at Valencia and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will happily return again soon.

Very much liked our lunch and the service. Food was really good, my wife had the octopus, I had the skirt steak, pork belly appetizers and bloody Mary’s. Would definitely recommend and return again.

We were absolutely in love with this place! Super gorgeous interior. Tapas were absolutely delicious. We went with the shrimp egg rolls and the pork belly. Entrees we’re the burger and the skirt steak. The absolute best brownie I’ve ever had for desert. Stacey was our waitress and a PLEASURE to have as company. We were never thirsty, drinks were delicious, (and strong lol) GM even came to check on us. Twice. Thank you guys for such a wonderful date night!!
