Love this restaurant. I have eaten several meals here, brunch and dinner. The bar is fab as is the restaurant. Make resies! The duck carnitas is delicious as is the Cesar salad, fish tacos, risotto. See you next time:)

This restaurant needs lots of work. Three out of the four dishes we had were excellent, but overall, the restaurant is not run well. it took 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. We ordered appetizers right away.( tuna tataki and tomato carpaccio- both excellent) which came out right away. Glassware on one of our cocktails was cracked - not noticed by staff but fixed right away when brought to their attention. Then it took 45 minutes for main courses to arrive! Halibut was great - fish tacos were terrible. Service staff waited by the counter for their food while 4 chefs raced around trying to fill orders. Gorgeous view but there are so many restaurants down the coast with far better service. Main dishes were removed from our bill because of the wait. Management never came over to apologize or bring us complimentary food while we waited. Felt terrible for our waitress Jess as she was trying so hard to make things right. This restaurant has a long long way to go.

Truly remarkable food. Unique and delicious, from starters through dessert. The wait staff is terrific as well, especially Alexis. We loved our vegetarian choices. We sat outside, with views of the ocean. It was so good we went two nights in a row and ordered different things each time. Next trip we will eat there again for sure.

Had brunch on the covered ocean view terrace. Views were spectacular and service was extremely cordial and attentive. After brunch, we found a spot in the sunshine on some low couches on the outdoor patio and continued our “Sunday Funday.” Thought the view would be great from that vantage point, but a low hedge actually blocks most of the perfect ocean view. May help to replace with low ground cover to highlight the show-stopping north westerly water view. Service in that area was friendly and kind, but a little less polished. Just seemed like new staff that might’ve needed a bit more training, but want to extend grace since we’ve all been there at some point in our careers. All in all, an amazing relaxing afternoon and plan to make it a regular favorite spot.

The view is amazing. Seemed understaffed. Checkin/seating took ~20mins because of one person checking in and seating. Would have definitely helped if there was another person to seat everything checking in. Then no waiter until we got up and asked if we could order (even after ordering/receiving coffee & pastry from busser). Amazing space/view, just need a bit more staff or coordination it seemed.

We had a 7:30 reservation for a party of 2 and weren’t seated until approx 45 minutes later. In the interim, a walk-up couple was seated at a choice booth inside and we were relegated to an outdoor table on a cool and breezy night. The hostess who seated us asked if my spouse wanted a blanket, to which we replied yes please, then we never saw her again. Then we asked the waiter for a blanket and had to ask three times before a blanket showed up. The sparkling water was served at room temperature. The glasses were not clean. Needless to say, that’s basically how the rest of the evening went; the service was mediocre at best and generally neglectful. And I haven’t even gotten to the food! The scallops were served luke warm and undercooked. The table next to us we overheard had the same complaint. We wished we would’ve heard their complaint before we ordered. Overall it was a poor restaurant experience.

Outstanding service. Delicious food and amazing view. An absolutely perfect brunch. Our server Cole, made the birthday girl feel extra special with treats before and after our meal. They also went above and beyond to accommodate one disabled person. We will be returning very soon! Well done, VAGA!!!

Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived for our reservation, so we went to the bar for a drink. The bartender forgot our order, and then We waited over 15 minutes to get our order while the drinks sat at the end of the bar waiting to be delivered. Our reservation was at 7:45 and we were finally sat at 8:10. We all had fish, and everyone single one was completely overcooked. Even our Parker rolls were cold and stale. Very underwhelming, disappointing and over priced experience. Such a shame considering how beautiful the location is
