Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

Our chef's counter offers 4 seats with an exclusive view into the kitchen. 5-course chefs menu with optional wine pairing. An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for your dinner.

Food was good but very small portions for the cost. Menu was very limited especially for seafood. Overall table service was good; however our food & main dishes were delayed for almost an hour due to a large party also dining which hampered their overall service.. given the small size of the restaurant & kitchen. Outside dining ambiance was pleasant but impacted by both foot & auto traffic on mass ave. Would recommend checking out the changing menu before dining here.

Best food I’ve had in Cambridge. Yes, I’m talking about better than Pammy’s, better than Sarma. I came here once in 2021, had a nice if unremarkable meal. Things have CHANGED. This meal blew me away. The creativity, the flavor, the freshness… a master class. I’ve eaten at many places that have a Michelin star, and this meal deserved one. The scallop crudo was transcendent, and the bluefish pate was subtle, rich, and shone with bright flavor. Get your reservations now before folks catch on.

Amazing food! Great service! Super cute decoration and chill vibes. It will be even better if they can offer free WiFi because my data doesn’t work well inside the restaurant.

One of the best meals I've eaten in years. The grilled stuffed octopus was insanely delicious! We sat there compiling a list of people we have to take there next chance we get. Excellent gluten free menu, extremely helpful and friendly staff, lovely outdoor dining.

Amazing! the food is unique and well executed. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear that the staff truly love food and what it means to be a place where food can be enjoyed in a safe and wonderful environment.

On Wednesday we went to celebrate an occasion at Urban Hearth. The vegan foraged greens tart was my favorite, a delicious light starter with sage , a delicious savory tart topped with greens. The mushroom dumplings were delicious! A moisture of mushroom " bacon" and other morsels...the main dish of trout had candied nuts and potatoes - really special.Every round was scrumptious .What an amazing weeknight special occasion!

Urban Hearth is in my neighborhood, it helps a lot to be able to walk to the restaurant. I am always ready to go for meal as the food is always special and delicious. The staff are welcoming upon arrival. There is a good feeling all around. Thank you.
