We had a delayed Mother's Day celebration here, got last minute reservations, and everyone enjoyed the food immensely. Ages Granny down to 2, everyone chowed down. We were inside with a guitarist right behind us, music was a great volume. Not crowded at all, surprisingly, but also a Tuesday night. Burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, trout, ribeye, chicken fingers, pasta, top notch. Kinda pricey, but no one thought the food, service and atmosphere wasn't totally worth. Hidden gem in Round Rock. Ten stars. We for sure will be back for date night. Oh, and get the Texas Mule.

Our 2nd time doing brunch here. Food, drinks & vibe continues to be outstanding. Our waitress this time seem very green, had to ask for a few things more than once nonetheless with time she will get there. One of my favorite brunch places.

Disappointed with service and experience. It was our first time at UE.D and we had such high expectations for it, given the mostly positive reviews. We were seated for almost 20 minutes before anyone offered to take drink order — perhaps bc there appeared to be only one server and he seemed all over the place. We didn’t order appetizers, since it was so late getting our order in, and it took a very very long time to get (another 30 mins) and the pork chop was overcooked, the grilled cheese was ‘just ok,’ the burger was basic and the quinoa bowl with salmon was ordered medium and it was actually a little med rare. Again just disappointed. The server seemed to kick in towards the end of the meal — refreshing our drinks — but I would be reluctant to recommend it, overall.

Urban was good and we would go back if we were in town. Waitress was good but seemed very new. Salad was served and the entrée was delivered almost immediately, "cafeteria style”.

We’ve been to Urban several times and have always had a great experience. Not sure what happened on our recent visit. We were a part of 4 & service was extremely slow. We waited about 15 minutes after being seated to be greeted by our waiter. We put drink and apps orders in right away. Apps came out quickly but it was 45 minutes before we got our drinks. Entrees took forever to come out as well. My husband’s burger was over done and under seasoned. Everybody else, though, did enjoy their food. I give the mushroom risotto with chicken 5 ⭐️. Maybe they were short handed. They weren’t super busy so that doesn’t really explain the slow service. It will probably be a while before we go back.

Wait staff rarely checked on our party, leaving water glasses empty. We were seated on the edge of an area that used to be a sidewalk. Tricky chair situation near the edge. This area needs to be made more private if they are going to continue to seat people next to a pedestrian area. On the upside, the food & cocktails are very good.

The fries and calamari weren't cooked properly; they were too oily. This usually happens when food is cooked in oil that isn't hot enough, leading to the food absorbing too much oil.

Decided to try this spot after a friends suggestion. Good call! She had the mushroom risotto with grilled chicken. I had the honel lemon salmon. Both dishes were great! The green bean side was better than expected. The drinks were perfect. Our server was attentive even as it got more crowded. The vibe was an after work crowd on a Friday evening and it was very cool. We will definitely be back with some of our crew in tow!

I have always loved URBAN I’ve been here many, many times since 2016 and It is definitely dropped in all categories. First the pros and then the cons. I like that it has added more outdoor space, everybody likes to sit outside when the weather is nice and having music on the patio is always a huge plus. The biscuits are AWESOME order the basket and if you plan on ordering it, don’t plan on ordering a lot of food because you’re going to be full before the real food comes out to the table. The various mimosas and the “flight”…so fun! The food is still pretty good. After all these years they keep the menu limited, which probably helps them make things a little bit better. The chicken fried steak is great, chicken, and waffles, even better. The banana foster French toast is awesome ( feeds 3 people so share this order!) CONS They have to do a much better job on keeping things a little cleaner. just the general upkeep of the ground, and the tables and the cleanliness of the environment. Today, the table service was definitely lacking even someone from the kitchen was helping with some of the deliveries so at least there was teamwork. I think they were short on staff, but when you have to keep asking your waiter (he) for things, and they keep forgetting, it gets a little annoying (not just one or two things but many) I realize it’s tough to find people and keep people in the service industry but it cannot stop truthful reviews. it doesn’t take much to implement a few improvements across-the-board. This place has always been great. Maybe it’s just a blip I sure hope so. Whoever the owners are, please work on continuing to take care of, and improve this place. Thank you your Round Rock patrons!!

We love this place!! We went for brunch w a reservation and got seated immediately. Our server was impeccable. There is a LOT of food for sure. We took half our food home and I made a small omelet to go with the leftovers and had for dinner. The only complaint I have is that I ordered my eggs over medium w the whites Cooked all the way and got over easy eggs and one of the eggs literally had no yolk. It was so crowded and our server was extremely busy so I made it kinda work. Not my best experience with eggs lol

Very disappointing first experience at this place. Walked in to a mostly empty restaurant with only the bartender being in front of house. She told us - someone will be with you shortly. After 5 minutes of waiting she came out and showed us to our table. This ended up being the theme for our brunch. Our server was nowhere to be found. Our drinks took forever to show up, especially the OJ. What takes this long for OJ? Getting the check was equally challenging since our server was mostly MIA during the service. Food was mostly good - nice biscuits, delicious. I had the Eggs Benedict w Lox (which are typically called Eggs Royal (but not here). The lox came on the side which was super weird and awkward to fit on the eggs. One of them still had ham on it. Experience was expensive. All in all - one of the most inattentive service I ever had. Food was average+ with highs and lows. Expensive. Won't be back.

Food and drinks were great but it was so incredibly busy and noisy. We had a reservation and the poor server did a great job but was clearly spread too thin it seemed like he had every table in the place. Also we had a table near the door and people waiting for tables were crowding around us which made it difficult to enjoy the ambiance

It was super busy brunch on a beautiful Sunday morning with only 4 servers for the entire restaurant, but they did a great job. The musician playing was great. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

We ate outdoors and it was a very pleasant evening. I had the trout salad and it excellent, partner had BBQ burger and it was also very good. Even though we do not live in Texas, we will be back to Urban.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Urban.Eat.Drink. We were seated promptly at our reservation time - didn't seem crowded so probably didn't need a reservation on a Wed at 6:30. Started the meal with the queso & chips and it was good. My son had the honey chicken sandwich, I had the salmon pasta dish, and my husband had the double pork chop. All of the meals were excellent. Service was very good and we were not rushed. I prefer the outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly at the end of February! This is a good choice for real food (not bar food) in downtown Round Rock!

We have been to Urban many times and always had a great experience. The food is very good and a nice variety at brunch. Sadly it seems this restaurant has expanded their tables way beyond their ability to provide good service. We waited over an hour for our food. The wait staff was rarely seen and took about 20 minutes to respond to simple requests like sweetener for our tea. We went for long periods with empty glasses. When the food was served, one of the items was wrong. Thankfully they sent the correct order quickly. I hope this was just an off day and we will try it again, but really wished a manager had been making the rounds to see how poor the service was as this is not how things usually go
