Great cozy vibes, feels like many brunch spots in CA. Spiced scrambled eggs were delicious as were Benedict & full classic breakfast. Green smoothie juice also great. Açaí bowls however were bit disappointing- huge portion size & the generous goji berries (which are super chewy) made it hard to eat. Needed more flavor variants. Other than that - brilliant experience and enjoyed by all.

Lovely good quality food, pleasant wait staff - only note for improvement was that the toilets were very wet everywhere and the used hand towel bins were overflowing so may need more attention.

Another lovely Sunday breakfast at Urban Angel. It’s busy so make a reservation. The juice, coffee and pastries are great. My favourite Eggs Benny served in several ways.

Food and service very good. BUT toilets absolutely filthy, disgusting. Makes you wonder how clean the kitchen would be. Would not visit again.

What a lovely lunch we had. Service was excellent, the girl who served us was so nice and friendly! The food was really good and also a slice of cake for later! Only negative food portion for my eggs and toast, could have done with another slice of toast. Half sourdough wasn't enough. Would recommend though

The skillet of baked eggs was miserable in portion for the £15. Single end in Glasgow is far superior. Toilets were not great either. Not a warming cafe tbh.

We had a limited food choice but what we chose was very good. Service was excellent. Lots of people were dining so there was a good atmosphere.

Food excellent as always and staff were also excellent- very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The only thing that lets it down is the cleanliness of the 2 small toilets.

First time here but will definitely be back. Excellent food and service. A bit pricier than some other brunch venues but worth every penny. Quality ingredients cooked and presented really well. Eggs poached beautifully and spinach and mushroom sides very tasty. Best coffee I've had since being in Melbourne and that is saying something.

I ordered Eggs Benny with crispy bacon. While the bacon was lovely, the amount of Hollandaise sauce I was given was so little that I could see unbuttered dry muffin underneath. A really stingy serving. My friend got the Hummus bowl, which was literally a bowl of hummus with a bit of dressing and two salad leaves finely chopped sprinkled on top. This is a side dip, not a main dish. All extremely disappointing and not worth the money. Table and service were good.

Lovely breakfast in Urban Angels . Was superb food, great coffee, and I had a scrumptious smoothly. The staff are soo friendly, the cooks really make every plate special. Highly recommended.

My favourite place to eat lunch and breakfast in edinburgh. I did find it a little cold where we were seated on Saturday, but I know I would have been moved if I had asked.

First time eating here wanting breakfast prior to attending funeral. Chose here after reading some very positive reviews of the place. Must say was not disappointed. Was uncertain about trying the oat milk turmeric latte but was assured by waitress Jessica that it was awesome and worth a try. How right she was! As was the food. I had the eggs Benny with vegetarian haggis, wife had the eggs with chipolte and chorizo. Eggs perfectly cooked to order and everything was tasty. Service from Jessica was smooth, friendly and professional. I will certainly be returning. Ambience was relaxed. A very positive experience. Not the cheapest place to have breakfast but certainly worth the money, pricey but very nicey!
