In 1949, Uptown Sports Club opened as a neighborhood spot for locals on the Eastside to drink, bet, watch the game and hold court.
Uptown Sports Club has found its second life thanks to Aaron Franklin and a handful of friends united by their deep love for Austin. Same building. Same neighborhood. Same soul. Just thoughtfully reimagined for the East Austin of today.
Uptown is your home base for great food, coffee, cocktails and community. We keep East Austin hours. Open early for coffee & breakfast, serving up a Texan take on Louisiana homestyle brasserie fare and slinging classic cocktails from lunchtime ’til late-night. No rush. No fuss. Come as you are daily or nightly.

Crazy loud, I thought I was getting old because I couldn't hear anyone. Food was very mid considering the price.

Service was amazing. Every server/food runner was very sweet and helpful. The Cherry Jubilee milkshake was absolutely unreal. Soooo good.

Always a nice time and the food is consistently good. Takes you straight to New Orleans when you walk in. Love the preservation of the history of the building.

Great atmosphere but the food was not spectacular! The waffles were hard and the chicken was decent! Other than that the vibe and the service was great!

Ambiance was cute. I wouldn’t suggest getting the cornbread waffles maybe the regular ones would have been a better option. The chicken was delicious though
