Sat there 25 minutes with only four tables occupied with NO SERVICE. Two waitresses walked by us serving others several times and didn’t even look our way. When we got up to leave, we stood by the hostess station for at least a minute if not two and neither waitress nor bartender even acknowledged us. TERRIBLE service, terrible atmosphere, unwelcoming and the poorest customer service I’ve ever seen. And now the hotel this “restaurant” is in is trying to charge us $65 when we were not even asked for our order!! Do not go to this establishment. It is crap.

The staff at UP went above and beyond!! We planned on celebrating New Year's Eve on the rooftop, knowing the cold weather coming they had igloo cabanas set up and it was amazing. Our party had an amazing time. The 2 hosts, the bartender and our server were spectacular!! Thank you guys, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful views awesome customer service wonderful atmosphere good vibes terrific drinks but… food was not great. Had the Mac n cheese burger w/ fries and the burger taste like I was eating charcoal. I didn’t finished the burger that I ordered medium well. Fries were delicious and my giant pretzel was delicious as well. Had a great time but they need a new cook.

The place is nice. The food not great. I ordered the steak and frites, which I ordered medium. They cut it to cook it, and was well done. My wife wanted the mushroom tacos, and they didn’t have them. It has a short menu, and some things weren’t available.

The view was pretty good. Would be better if there wasn't 5 cranes and several new buildings under construction. The bartender was serving drinks with well liquors instead of what the menu stated. The food was not good at all. We had 4 different meals and they were all below average. Quality of food was cheap. I will not be back to that rooftop.

The one thing I would give a good rating to was our bartender/manager (not sure of his role). He was super great and if the establishment can see this, he should be praised for his attentiveness, helpful suggestions, and kind spirit! (I can’t remember his name but he had ear gauges). But, I say that was the one thing I’d give a good rating because our server was what ruined the experience. She rushed us to get in our food order and when she brought the check, stood there until we pulled out a card and said “I prefer cash tips”. My boyfriend is a server and said while he also prefers cash tips, he would never speak that to a guest nor would he ever stand there and wait for someone to pay unless they were clearly in a rush themselves. The food was fine but not for the price it costed. Overall it was a subpar experience and I probably won’t go back.

There was only one server who was also the bartender. He was running around naturally since he was by himself. The truck didn’t come , so they were out of a few things. It was a nice , small rooftop. I’m on the fence About going again. No music or anything.

After making a reservation and confirming with the event staff that I was bringing a party of 10 for a special birthday dinner on the rooftop at 8:30-10pm - they were not prepared for us. Upon our on time arrival we were told the kitchen closed at 8:50p and the bar closed at 9:30p and we had to hurry and order or go somewhere else. Coordinating so many people and parking we had to stay. There were only separate tables of 4, separated by tables that stayed dirty the entire time despite asking several times for tables to be cleaned and moved together. Our group had to move high boy chairs and cried around one table for 4 and balance plates and drinks on their laps the entire time. NOTE: the pictures on the website are very outdated. There is zero view of the downtown skyline anymore. The only view is into condos.

Nothing like advertised. Run down and dirty. I ordered a charcuterie board and it was cheap lunch meat and cheese for $21. Many better places to eat that is walking distance. I will not recommend or return.

We went for the views but there really isn't one! Buildings have been built 3/4 of the way around this roof top. We could see the sunset, which was nice. We asked our waitress twice for water and never received any. One meal came 5-10 minutes before the other, which was strange.

Food was okay, service was very slow and odd. She refused to give us checks and just wanted our cards to pay. Once we finally got itemized receipts she added 23% gratuity without telling us. Which is fine, but we wouldn't have known without getting the itemized bill. Overall I see why there rating online is 2-3 stars.

the setting was charming the food was average at best. the menu did not match what appears online which is why we scheduled the reservation to begin with. the drinks were not good and made us all feel sink thereafter. I would call this a hotel restaurant, but online it is being sold as a swanky rooftop bar with specialty drinks.

It’s not as nice as the website portrays. There were napkins all over the floor. The chairs were ripped. Their bonfire was not on despite the chilly temp. They didn’t have any of their craft beers that were listed on the menu. The waitress brought out a drink we didn’t order then charged us for it (we didn’t drink it). After charging us she said she couldn’t refund us at all. And had to go back and forth before she finally asked the bartender for help. We only ordered fries because we wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. The fries were ok, we ate them all, but I could have made them in my home kitchen. They were frozen fries with garlic oil Parm and parsley. Not to any fault is their own but the view was ruined by construction happening next door. I do not recommend.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. First, we walk in and there is no hostess, so we wave down a server. We are then informed that the reservation I made specifically for an outdoor table won't be honored because they, in fact, do not take reservations and it is only open seating. We walk out to the patio to find the smallest and skinniest table (the only one left) and sit down. FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES PASS and not a single person comes to bring us menus or take our order. We just sit there. Absolutely horrible service. We finally get up to leave and one of the servers says "Did you guys have a good time?" and we said "um no, we actually didn't, no one came to serve us". and he just awkwardly laughed. And we left. Not to mention, the food we saw coming out did NOT look to be worth what they were charging for it on the menu. Plate sizes were small and looked like bar food. PLUS the view is NOT as pictured. No view of downtown, just a giant newly-built apartment building. Honestly, a 0/10 place to go.

Only one server for the whole roof, so it took a significant amount of time to receive food and drink orders. We couldn’t find the server at one point so I walked to the restaurant inside, to order at the bar, and got reprimanded by the server that I should be ordering through her. It was an odd interaction but I understand she might have been stressed with the high number of tables and no support. I would go back but not with a large party.

This place is terrible. half the menu items were unavailable. The tables were dirty. The bartender was trying her best but clearly her management have provided no tolls to do a good job. Had one drink and left for another location.

This was a HORRIBLE experience. The service was terrible. We had a reservation ~ as it was recommended as a good rooftop. It was raining~ so rooftop was closed ~ which was fine~ however the waitress told us the kitchen was not open~ after we sat and looked at the menu for 30 min. We should have been told upon arrival that the restaurant was not serving food. We had to ask 3 x for someone to send over a server for drinks.

The worst experience i’ve had in Nashville. When we first walked in, we were yelled at that the rooftop was “full” by one man but then seated immediately by another worker. There were multiple open tables so not sure why we were yelled at that the rooftop is full. Everyone working there was extremely rude except for the manager, who was the only one who regularly checked on us. It took over 30 minutes to get a water and our server rarely checked up on us. Our plates were asked to be taken away when we all had almost full plates. It felt like we were being rushed out but then once they gave us our check our server was now where to be found. We had to pay at the bar. Very disappointed. Highly recommend finding a better rooftop rather than wasting your time at UP.

This place has great potential - but needs a serious adjustment if they want to continue being in business. The service was awful (except for the bartender who eventually took care of our table) - half the menu was unavailable, and because of construction the "views" are scaffolding. Would not recommend.

Slow and indifferent service. Server told us he was giving us a minute to pick our drinks and simply disappeared, even though the place was empty. When he finally came, didn’t apologize or anything. Drinks were bland and watery, and very expensive. I don’t recommend it, even if you’re staying at the hotel.

We had a new waitress (her 2nd day). She was obviously not comfortable servicing by herself and very overwhelmed. Other staff members were not giving her any type of support or help. We were there for over 2 hours, when we could have been in and out in one. We felt extremely bad for our waitress because we feel as if she should have never been put in that situation in the first place.

Food was overpriced for what you get, and the service was terrible. We sat there for over an hour waiting to place our dinner order and finally just decided to close out and leave after one round of drinks and an appetizer. The view was nice from one angle, but it was mostly a view of construction and portapotties. There are so many other rooftops in Nashville, don’t waste your money on this place. Very disappointing.

Awesome view and overall vibe, but unfortunately we had a waiter that forgot everything we ordered multiple times. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get water and check on our own food when nothing came out. Two of our orders were never put in to begin with. Definitely a bummer, especially cause it was my bachelorette party.

I booked this restaurant for my senior son and his 8 friends for Prom night. NOWHERE - website, open table, google …. NOWHERE does it say it’s only 21 and up. The rooftop patio it says something about - but not the inside dining. These 18 year old kids - 9 of them - dressed for prom had to walk over to Party Fowl (since they weee dropped off by a limo) and have dinner. Which was comically very enjoyable. NEVER GO HERE!!! Even with the not so great reviews it already had - the kids figured the views from the rooftop plus the casual menu was going to be good — NOT! Absolutely awful!
