L'Union Oyster House, situé sur le Freedom Trail, près de Faneuil Hall, jouit de la particularité unique d'être le plus ancien restaurant de l'Amérique. Ce commerce bostonnais, situé dans un bâtiment datant de l'époque d'avant la Révolution américaine, a commencé à servir des aliments en 1826 et continue à garnir ses étals et son bar à huîtres, dans le lieu même où Daniel Webster était un client régulier.

The very best restaurant in Boston. Recommend to people: First visit, seafood lover, re-visit, regular customer, people who enjoy historical building. Friendly staffs, great food.

The waitress was amazing. Can’t recall her name but she was from Haiti. Cracking the lobster was very hard, wish they will at least partially crack it.

As has been the case each time we have visited, we enjoyed our meal very much. Our server(s) were attentive and fun. Our dining experience was further enhanced by the nearby parking garage and the parking validation provided by the restaurant that greatly lessened the sting of city parking fees. We will visit again.

We were visiting our son celebrating Mothers' Day at the Boston Opera House for some superb ballet- and this was dinner afterwards. On this beautiful spring day we were in mood to enjoy some old world ambiance. We ordered the broiled scrod and the pan seared chicken with a side of baked beans- a feast really, and very delicious. Our server was cheerful and gracious. We walked the cobbled streets to ride the Haymarket T for a total Boston experience- and with the blooming dogwood trees all over the city- it was urban immersive, and so memorable!

Excellent food.. and to our surprise that the oysters were so fresh and wanted more. Price could be a little cheaper but when we found out they were from Prince Edward Island.. WOW!! That’s a fair price.

Dinner and drink menus were excellent. The clam chowder soup and the lobster macaroni & cheese were great choices. The ambiance was fun & energetic, and service was outstanding. A highly recommended Boston eatery, especially, since it is the oldest restaurant in the country.
