L'Union Oyster House, situé sur le Freedom Trail, près de Faneuil Hall, jouit de la particularité unique d'être le plus ancien restaurant de l'Amérique. Ce commerce bostonnais, situé dans un bâtiment datant de l'époque d'avant la Révolution américaine, a commencé à servir des aliments en 1826 et continue à garnir ses étals et son bar à huîtres, dans le lieu même où Daniel Webster était un client régulier.

We were seated in The Kennedy Booth for lunch. Service, food and atmosphere were all great! Highly recommend.

History unparalleled, food was just average. Have had much better food, went there for the history so not highly disappointed

I guess our memory of eating here many years ago was faulty. We remembered it being larger and more charming and more formal. I love that it is America's oldest restaurant. But the seating is awful; hard, small benches. The food was just OK, not anything really special. Maybe it was an off night for the chef? Our waiter was very good and attentive. The entrees and drinks were priced as expected but the cup of soup and apple dessert were very small for the price.

Fantastic lunch and the famous Union Oyster House! Great service and we were so lucky and grateful that they allowed us to sit at the Kennedy Booth. Our food and drinks were excellent. I'll definitely be back!

Definitely a tourist stop for a historical location but I would not eat here again. Server was nice but delivered oysters ( which were good) after the main course of shrimp and scallops which were overcooked and no vegetables at all which were pictured in their website. Go to see it but maybe just get some oysters and a drink.

Food was good, the restaurant certainly is not lacking in the historical department. Very nostalgic, overall great experience!
