The Steakhouse American grill gets William Jack Degel’s food and decor makeover, and the result is simply amazing! Featuring scratch-made appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, craft cocktails and specializing in STEAK. Uncle Jack’s has the look and feel of a 1900s warehouse in New York’s Famous Meatpacking District, complete with aged cement, raw vintage steel, subway title, meat hooks, custom wallpaper featuring archival butcher photos, with flying pigs and steer heads mounted on the walls. The tufted and red vinyl seating, marble bar tops with old school bar styling mixed in and outdoor fire pit lounge areas provide a pop of sophistication while also reinforcing the vintage theme. Food was outstanding as always. Out server Brandon was very nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed and several requests were delayed a bit and detracted from what would have been a great meal. Burgers were AMAZING!!

We had a very disappointing meal here on Sunday for their Mother’s Day brunch. We had set reservations with special notes saying one of the party members was a child and we would need a high chair and I contacted them again before Sunday to say our table needed a high chair and they confirmed. When we showed up for our reservation they put us at a high top on the patio and said that was the best they could do so we had to hold the child in our laps the whole meal. I also made a note in our reservation that we were not only celebrating Mother’s Day but also a birthday and it was never acknowledged. The buffet was incredibly disappointing and short and made the wait for food long. And the food for the price was not worth it. We had to ask to get forks after we had food because there were only knifes at the buffet. Even though the buffet wait was long, our drinks were not even at our table by the time we got back with our food. There were two females who looked to be managers who were absolutely useless. They stood at the buffet just talking to each other. One came by our table at one point and gave us $10 off coupons for our next meal but said nothing us or even ask how we were doing. I can guarantee we will not be redeeming those because we simply will not be coming back.

We went for Mother’s Day brunch. Some foods were good. I was disappointed in the carving station meats, pork and prime rib. The meats were tough and tasteless. Our waiter, Brandon, was great!

Not a very good experience at all. Food was OK, service seemed slow but it was a brunch buffet so no big deal waiting longer for drink refills and empty plates to be cleared. But when the bill came, there were previously undisclosed fees that added 25% to the bill. There was what they called an "admin fee", what exactly do they administer? 20% gratuity added, also without previous disclosure. When I questioned these added, illegal fees, the story I got was they didn't want to raise menu prices so they are charging fees instead. This is not only illegal but deceitful as well. I guess they know their food is not worth the price and if given true prices in advance, people would leave and go somewhere else. J Alexanders is across the street, has better steaks, better service and is reasonably priced with no hidden fees or up charges. I won't return to uncle jacks and I would advise you to go elsewhere unless you are OK with paying inflated prices without knowing until after the meal. Someone from corporate offered me a gift card, presumably to buy my silence about their deceptive billing, but unless I sell it or give it away it won't be used. A free meal is not worth the aggrivation that I experienced after my last and final visit to this failing restaurant.

Overpriced buffet. $400 meal for 4 people including tax, 18% service charge and 3% administrative fee. Buffet consisted of prime rib, oysters, shrimp, Mac & cheese, cold fried chicken, ice cream and other mini desserts. Our sever forgot drinks. We reminded her of the drinks and she brought the wrong ones. Save your money. I won’t be back.

My wife, daughter and I enjoy the Mother's Day Brunch. The food selection was amazing, my daughter was over the.moon seeing seafood at 10 am. Hoping there is a Father's Day Brunch as we will definitely be reserving a table.

Pathetic. There were maybe 7 tables in the restaurant on a Friday at 7PM So we should have known it wasn’t going to be good. After 8 minutes of waiting for a server we decided to go find someone to help us out. Drink service took at least 12-15 minutes for simple wine pours. Both adult meals had to be sent back for being WAY over cooked. Manager apologized but blamed it on trying to get rid of someone in the kitchen because they always over cook and seemed very indifferent to the situation. Was given a free dessert in hopes of making up for things but that also took forever to come out. We spent $230 and while the food (when prepared correctly) tasted good, we regret going.

Great ambiance, good ok, but service was really rough. Third time trying Uncle Jacks and same result. Staff didn’t know the menu, answer to basic questions, wine, etc.

The food was good, although I feel the sides were a little pricey for the sized portion served. We will return to try some different items on the menu. Over all it was nice, our server was attentive and the restaurant was clean! We asked for cappuccino and I don't think it's a usual request, it wasn't hot. Will try again and update any changes!

Took my wife for our Anniversary who is an absolute foodie. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Best food that we have had at a restaurant to date. Customer service was great and we will definitely be back again and again.

Must have the bacon as appetizer, simply divine. Steak sandwich juicy and tender. Cuban sandwich awesome, full of flavour. Hamburgers are huge and creative combinations, we had the ooey gooey and it was delicious. Kids plates also well portioned and little ones were happy with steak’n’mash and marinara pasta.

Food and service were both outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and the manager came by to make sure everything was on par. Food was very tasty and high quality. We would dine here again.

The business dinner was good but disappointed in the beer selections. The food was good despite one steak coming more well than medium rare. The coconut cake was hugh and very good!

We sat at the bar and there were very few people at the bar. However, several times we were ignored. Bar tender seemed to be working alone. Resulted in poor service.

It was a good time with great food and service as usual! The Jackpot was so flavorful and delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the Cesar salad and the drinks were flavorful. Enjoyed that they stretched their Valentine’s celebration through the whole week!

Food was great as usual. Got the bacon which is a must. They have changed it up so it is a tiny bit spicy now where it didn’t used to be. Not horribly but my 2 year old wanted all of it and so was a little nervous. Our server was fantastic and kept a close eye on things without being overbearing, which was wonderful. I’d say the only issue is $25 for a salad at lunch with a tiny bit of steak seems a little much but I guess everything is expensive these days.

Cuban sandwich was very dry, did not like the fact that because one person booked the reservation we were forced to use her credit card when we wanted to actually pay cash, unacceptable that they couldn't make that happen

We were the only 2 in the restaurant for a 4pm birthday lunch. Nicholas our server was great and attentive. The brussel sprouts were wonderful! My dad had the lamp chops, which were ok. I had a salad with steak. I ordered the steak medium, and it came out over cooked. Nicholas noticed right away and brought a manager over. They took my salad back and brought back a steak that was too rare. I did not want to send back again so just ate the salad and brought the steak home. Disappointed as there were no other customers in there.

Great experience there! Our server was fantastic and he offered excellent suggestions. Each dish was delicious and our two children had a nice time as well. I highly recommended this restaurant. Some great items were the filet mignons, the beef stroganoff, the fish and chips, the thick cut bacon starter, and the hoisin meatballs.

Has potential but is poorly ran. Server not polite and if we asked any questions, would shut us down and not offer suggestions or explanation on menu. Food was hit or miss. My friend’s steak was cooked properly and mine severely undercooked. Overall, we can overlook any issues with food as I don’t expect every dish to perfection but the service was horrible. I would’ve much preferred to tip the food runners and another server that came by to check on us than our own server.

I have been to this location several times and each time it gets worse. The waitress was very nice but had no clue about the menu. I ordered the filet and it had no taste. For a meal that cost 175$ for two people - the food should be better. I will have to go to the other location for now on. This one has fallen off.

Good atmosphere. Server was over loaded with tables so service not very good. Had to wait long periods of time to get things. Expected more from the Prime steaks. They were grisly and over cooked. Very disappointed with steaks.
