The Steakhouse American grill gets William Jack Degel’s food and decor makeover, and the result is simply amazing! Featuring scratch-made appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, craft cocktails and specializing in STEAK. Uncle Jack’s has the look and feel of a 1900s warehouse in New York’s Famous Meatpacking District, complete with aged cement, raw vintage steel, subway title, meat hooks, custom wallpaper featuring archival butcher photos, with flying pigs and steer heads mounted on the walls. The tufted and red vinyl seating, marble bar tops with old school bar styling mixed in and outdoor fire pit lounge areas provide a pop of sophistication while also reinforcing the vintage theme. We came for the Father’s Day buffet brunch. First I want to say the staff was working so hard and the service was excellent. The working conditions for them were far from satisfactory though. They had the buffet set up in an outdoor patio with no ac. It was easily 95 degrees or hotter out there. And not rotating employees out there to give them a break. This was poor planning. One girl at the craving station working with the meat under the heat lamp was drenched in sweat. Unsafe working conditions and food holding temps. I have been here for dinner before and the food was great. My recommendation is to not come for the buffet set up.

Server was very efficient, kind, and attentive. Steak, salad, steak sandwich and coconut pie were delicious. Food came out in a timely manner. Food prices could've been lower, but otherwise, all great!

Food was decent enough. Very edible. We were 1 of maybe 3 tables and our server didn't refill our water without us asking which was strange. Food was way over priced. $90 for 3 (includes tip) for 3 pop overs, 2 lunch sandwiches and 1 chicken quesadilla and a chocolate souffle. Pretty absurd pricing.

Cocktails were watered down. All 3 steaks ordered were overcooked. Waitress was very slow and we never saw a manager until after we paid. It was to late at that point. Paid over 400.00 for a party of 4 and value was not worth it.

Food was outstanding as always. Out server Brandon was very nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed and several requests were delayed a bit and detracted from what would have been a great meal. Burgers were AMAZING!!

We had a very disappointing meal here on Sunday for their Mother’s Day brunch. We had set reservations with special notes saying one of the party members was a child and we would need a high chair and I contacted them again before Sunday to say our table needed a high chair and they confirmed. When we showed up for our reservation they put us at a high top on the patio and said that was the best they could do so we had to hold the child in our laps the whole meal. I also made a note in our reservation that we were not only celebrating Mother’s Day but also a birthday and it was never acknowledged. The buffet was incredibly disappointing and short and made the wait for food long. And the food for the price was not worth it. We had to ask to get forks after we had food because there were only knifes at the buffet. Even though the buffet wait was long, our drinks were not even at our table by the time we got back with our food. There were two females who looked to be managers who were absolutely useless. They stood at the buffet just talking to each other. One came by our table at one point and gave us $10 off coupons for our next meal but said nothing us or even ask how we were doing. I can guarantee we will not be redeeming those because we simply will not be coming back.

We went for Mother’s Day brunch. Some foods were good. I was disappointed in the carving station meats, pork and prime rib. The meats were tough and tasteless. Our waiter, Brandon, was great!
